  I am shocked that the senior nurse would defend such a corruptive practice by saying that some of those things are needed at the hospital for the mom and baby welfare. Why would a woman who has just given birth need tom brown? It is true that they really need them then wait and let the need arise and they will buy if they like to. It should not be a force. There is massive corruption in the health care system, especially at the maternity level and it is one of the major reasons why Ghana is struggling to achieve MDG-5. I am a nurse but I find it so embarrassing when things like these are being talked about and senior nurses run into defending. It is a shame.

  what's going on in sunyani is no exception,there are similar case's also happen in the Ashanti region,specificaly suntresu hospital in kumasi.The NHIA needs to sit up.

  This is no exception to Brong Ahafo Region alone, all the government hospitals are into this habit, The government especially the Ministry responsible must sit up to correct these anomalies before it gets out of hands
