For how long, will discerning Ghanaians allow these hard-core criminals of the NDC hold the nation to ransom ?

After 11 years of a brutal and barbaric tyrannic rule, these hard-core criminals unable to withstand the the agitation and pressure of Ghanaians and our development partners to return the country to a democratic rule, offered Ghanaians a referendum in 1992 as an exit strategy out of their satanic rule.

The referendum was whether Ghanaians wanted a return to civilian rule or a continuation of the p/ndc terrorist rule.

Over 90% of Ghanaians voted against the continuation of p/NDC rule and preffered the return to civilian rule.

Instead of handing over power to a transitional administration to organise and supervise elections, the NDC refused to do so and rather decided to take part in the impending elections.

The chose their own members to 'fill' the membership of the Electoral Commission and to organise and supervise the 1992 elections.

Afraid of losing the elections, they decided to use the electoral register of the 1986 district assembly elections.

If these stealers were really interested in free and fair elections, will they have used an electoral register whích was 6 year old and for which purpose, not many Ghanaians were interested ?

The stealers again used opaque ballot boxes, against the will of discerning Ghanaians, for the elections.

Our failure to rise up to resist these oppressors' rule since 31st December 1981 has emboldened these gangster-killers and stealers to continue to toy with our destiny.

Think people, Chachu was insisiting that the pink sheets were less than 11842 as the petitioners were claiming, and that they have padded the exhibits to arive at their conclusion.
Bawumia, all along had accepted that some may have been erroneosly duplicated. (triplicated and quadriplicated as insisted by Chachu)
He (Bawumia) also said that their analysis was based on the 11842 minus the 709 they took out, so is it not logical to attribute the aditional numbers (if the report is true) to the duplications etc, which were NOT included in the analysis?
All along, Bawumia has been saying that Chachu is afraid of the truth and was hidding behind the duplicates he found in the exhibits to waste everybody's time.
I was listening to the live broadcast on the day Chachu requested for an audit, and the first impression I got was that he was calling a bluff, and issues arising seems to prove me right.

The fact is the pink sheets presented as evidence were 11,843 and Tsatsu says they got less than that. Those boxes must contain the number of pink sheets presented for evidence. You should not have more or less, regardless duplicates, triplicates, quadruplicates.

If this report is true then there is a problem here. Where are the extras coming from and if there were extras as part of the evidence then why were the respondents not given those extras that have been presented for evidence?

2 things to consider, there has been evidence tempering (criminality element) or there has been withholding of evidence from the respondents; that is what Tsatsu was telling the court. Answers will be needed and the court will find this most interesting!

During Bawumia's cross-examination, he did indicate that if Tsatsu was discovering duplicate and triplicate pink sheets, it would only mean that in the course of packaging, they boxed up more pink sheets than was required, and that it was never the case, as alleged by Tsatsu, that they did so to make up the numbers. Even with the so-called triplicates and quadruplicates, Tsatsu still claimed that NPP did not file more than 8,600 pink sheets. The evidence emerging is that Bawumia was right.

This means the NPP deceived the court when it stated it presented it with 11,842. If you can remember the OJ Simpson case in the US, "if the gloves does not fit, you must acquit", so if the pink sheets does not tally, the case must be dismissed.

I hope you go back to see what the OJ Simpson Lawyers did, and how they argued to close their case. Everything was about the evidence. Corrupting the evidence and a glove that did not fit. They did not argue that the glove did not fit, they used that information in their closing argument and that is what broke the prosecutors and their case.

By arguing the pink sheets were less would do a better than arguing the other way. What Counsel Tsatsu was looking for was to discredit NPP's claim that they submitted 11,842 pink sheets to the court.

Now the duplicated, triplicated and quadruplicated sheets have not been dealt with. If those are sorted and deducted from the 13k pink sheets, you will see that you will be left with about 8k. So what are you trying to tell Ghanaians. You guys are refusing to call a spade a spade and continue throwing dust into the eyes of Ghanaians. Posterity will judge all of you. We have filed cases upon cases in court and there should be no reason while process at court registry or on judges dockets should out number the one served on respondents or defendants. extra copies of processes has always been with the petitioners or plaintiff's. Is true that there can be extra copies of processes but not as many as over 2,000 sheets. I think that the pink sheets have been tamped with and the reason is clear, since the NDC did not give the number of pink sheets served on them the one who tamped with the pink sheets just add as many as he or she can just to make sure that at least it is not less than 11,000.

How could this writer then say that this finding "..... was likely to confirm the petitioners’ case that they indeed, attached the 11,842 as exhibits". Is 13,900 same as 11,842 as claimed by the petitioners. Can't he see that this findings, if true, has given a different twist to the issues being debated?. The confusion will be more deepened and is rather giving credibility to the suspicions that more boxes were smuggled in to add to the original 24 raising it to 31 and hence the overflow. Eeeeeeh!! What a messy situation.

You illiterate Kpeglo, which TV or radio were you watching or listening to. Whenever Tsatsu raised an issue of duplicate, Bawumia indicates that yes indeed some documents might have been duplicated but in the analysis there was no duplication. Additionally, Bawumia explained that there were some pink sheets that were presented twice but on different cases. For instance in polloing station A there could be a case of over voting at and another case of voting without biometric verification so it makes sense to the sensible person that when you are making a claim of irregularity you state the cases independently and that is exactly what the petitioners did. Don't be blinded by your loud mouth General secretary asideu nketia who lied in court yesterday.

If this figure is divided by three on the bases that Ct Registry did not serve respondents accordingly, each respondents will then have around 921 more pinksheets that is being fair to petitioners! Now this is still short of the 11,138 that petitioners clamed to have served on the Respondents and at the registry! Na waa oh! Something is wrong somewhere! Now, If they said they served 11900+, reduced to 11800+, and ageain to 11,138, then the whole thing is in a mess! The figures DO NOT tally! I think the Peitioners should accept that they did a bad job! Well, there will be counting of polling stations not duplicated, triplicated, quadruplicated polling stations and sheets! There Daily Guide´s mathematics or arithmetics will be more challenged! Goodluck!

For me I will go with the fact that some more pink sheets have been added when the order was given for recount. Now that the number given by the two paties are not correct, why don't they count the pink sheets given to the judges in public for all of us to see. Now that we are doing everything in public.

So back to my dear writer, I cannot tell your background in politics. But my advice to you is that , you are writing for people to read and know what is happening. You are not selling a product. Next time, try and write with the mind, but not anything.

Secondly, assume the raw count of sheet totals 13900. How does that favor the NPP. The obvious question has always been HOW MANY UNIQUE pink sheet are actually exhibited. THAT IS THE QUESTION and that is what would actually determine the total count of votes the NPP wants to annull.
As Dr Bawumia has testified in court during cross-examination, he agreed with Tsikata that there are duplication, triplication and quadruplications in their exhibits.
I can find 13900 copies of the same document and present it before the court but it still is just 1 document.
So please, let's use some brain cells tthis morning and stop deceiving ghanaians.

Realising that there was a lot of duplicate and triplicate pink sheets, they added more pink sheets over the 11,842 to explian the duplicate and triplicate pink sheets. But you see, the challenge resulting from this is that, you have 9 Judges who were given pink sheets too. How will they(NPP)increase thiers too. Remember also that in Bawumia answers, he never said that these duplicates had increased the numbers over the 11,900. Infact he kept insisting that he submitted 11,900 pink sheets and that these duplicates though valid does not affect his analyses. Now the question is how do you reconcile these pink sheets with the ones with the judges. We wait to see.

The fear that these boxes containing the contested pink sheets could be compromised ought to have been handled in a very professional manner by the independent referee in a transparent and even-handed process that excludes any element of doubt.

The whole country is aware of important exhibits in the custody of our courts have been compromised in the past, when the NPP was in power. We all recall parcels of cocaine turning into baking powder before anyone could say, "Jack"!

"Ye nim NPP firi tete!" Thus the first thing that any independent referee mandated to audit such a sensitive matter ought to have ensured was the integrity of the materials under contention to the satisfaction of all contending parties.

As a peace-loving citizen of Ghana, it is my right to expect due diligence from a so-called reputable accounting firm charged to oversee such a high-risk exercise. And I insist on it in the name of peace and justice justice for all!

I find it extremely depressing that a "Senior Partner with KPMG, Joseph Winful, told XYZ News in an interview on Wednesday May 22, 2013,... that international accounting and auditing firm, KPMG, did not take an initial inventory of the number of boxes containing pink sheets (primary electoral records) in the custody of the Supreme Court’s Registry before it started auditing the sheets"!

In terms of doing first thing first, this fundamental omission to secure the boxes by ascertaining the number is an unconscionable disservice to God and country! How long would it take to count 24 or 31 boxes? What is the point in beginning an audit of pink sheets when there is no way of telling whether or not the number of boxes are growing by the day, or by night?

The admission by KPMG that they simply went ahead auditing the pink sheets without bothering a hoot about how many boxes were in the strong room is an indication that they are not up to the minimum standards of common sense, transparency and integrity expected of an independent referee!

In a case in which the NDC is contending that the pink sheets filed by the NPP are not up to even 9,000, with the NPP insisting that they had filed 11,842, it would be in the interest of justice if the accurate number claimed by the NPP turns up completely over-bloated.

KPMG ought to be removed from the counting. A much more competent body ought to be appointed to do the counting. The mechanism of control ought to be extended. Th compromised boxes ought to be excluded. A new independent referee ought to have access to 2 or more samples of the evidence from the Judges to establish the facts beyond all reasonable and eternally lingering doubts!

Sometimes, some people think and act as if there is no God. It is clear, if it is true that the number of boxes has increased, that the NDC team added those boxes to discredit the petitioners case. They want the judges to "throw out the case" on the basis that the evidence has been tampered with.

They should, however, know that God exists and has infinite wisdom. The truth will come out and justice will be served n Ghana!

The NDC further alleged that "someone" has added more boxes to make up the 11842. Supposing the auditors had found 11842, the NDC would have been deflated. Now the auditors have found even more pink sheets than the petitioners claim they have supplied. Where from the extra pink sheets and how can the petitioners explain this?

Don't forget that the petitioners have provided each justice the number of sheets that are in contention so even if anyone either subtracts or adds to the number in the court vault the 9 Justices will use what is in their possession to establish the facts. What I understand will happen is that the auditing team will extend the audit to the sheets given to the Justices and the respondents. If all sheets presented turns out to be 3900 then NPP has a perfect point. If there are discrepancies in the numbers then the NPP will have a mountain of questions to answer.

When this leaked out and they realised that the Supreme Court would never stand for this, they changed tactics to endlessly cross-examining Dr Bawumia.

When this failed, they tried to compromise the pink sheets by bringing National Security agents to "guard" them, in the hope that they could tamper with the pink sheets. When they found that the court officials would not stand f9or thisd, they asked for an audit. When the KPMG people came, the NDC said the audit mu st be suspended because "extra" boxes of pink sheets had been discovered. By whom? KPMG? No, said KPMG. So who?

Meanwhile, Gloria Akuffo's offices were broken into again. To find material that Tsatsu Tsikata could put to Asiedu Nketia?

Ei! What type of crooks are ruling Ghana? The goat thinks that by defecating in public, it is ruining the street. NPP claims that they sent 11,840 sheets to the court and the Registry of the Court must explain why the number counted is different. I am sure that there was some documentation issued and signed. The issue must be investigated and those found guilty or incapable of explaining the difference dealt with on criminal grounds. We are fedup with this exhibit tampering at our courts.
