No development can take place in a war environment. As Ghanaians we have a civic, moral and divine responsibility of reminding our selves of the importance of peace and tranquility in Ghana. We do not need a prophet to tell us the effects of war on country and her citizens because we are first witnesses of war in our neighbouring countries. We must not forget about the wars in Liberia, sera Leone, Cote Devoire, DRC, Rwanda and now Mali.
The on going legal battle between NPP and NDC is tearing our lovely Ghana apart. If those of us in the diaspora are nervy and apprehensive, what about those in Ghana?
Ghana's stability and peace has attracted a lot of investors ,who are in a contemplation stage to move or relocate their investment to a more safer country.
All religious leaders must appeal to the two legal warring factions (NPP and NDC) to lay down their arms for peace to prevail.
Pastors, Apostles,Bishops and church members must follow the appeal of Rev Ebenezer Abebrese.
Many people may not appreciate the value of peace we have until we
have lost it.
Let us learn from our environment.
