Everyone knows this, except those in government who refuse to see that. When they are in opposition, suddenly, their eyes open to see the nakedness of our country and the Continent.
But people should be true to themselves and think deeply about the African unity; it was dead on arrival in 1963 when they met in Ethiopia. The leaders were not prepared to relinquish their positions and become under anyone. Nkrumah knew this and other leaders know that- so just in 2 years after forming that, they could not agree on anything in Accra when they met in 1965. This is why they keep on saying that Accra conference was a failure.
We need to read what happened and found the reasons why it collapsed

I have a question to ask? Before the organization got 50 years what did the leaders do about the objectives and ideas set by the founders of OAU.
It is a good thing to talk about this issue but what have they achieved practically or one just wants going to be on the press for fun to see how serious they want OAU to work.
I have a problem with the theoretical` aspect of issues that are been raised recently.
People are suffering and others are enjoying but yet it is always been placed on paper for people to see how serious they want the OAU to work. So is it how the system works or one wants to prove to that something is been placed on paper.
Everybody wants to use the government property, funds etc as their breakthrough in life. This is why people do not even have jobs because of the selfish nature of the people around the hook.
