How did clerical errors affect the results to the advantage of the NPP? Whatever definition that is given to over voting, did it occur solely in the strongholds of the NDC or the polling stations the petitioners are asking their results to be annulled, or it is pervasive in all the electoral areas in the elections? What is the meaning of biometric verification? Did Afari Gyan's famous declaration of no verification no vote necessarily meant biometric verification shoud be done by machine? On what grounds in our constitution would a vote or votes be declared null and void? Did anybody who was allegedly not verified by machine vote be annulled? If an electoral officer did not sign the PINK SHEET, does it mean that the votes be annulled?
Asiedu Nketia may soon prove to them that what they are alleging to be errors that advantaged the NDC equally occurred in the strongholds of the NPP.
I would wish to dismiss it as an exercise in futility but for the fact that it would bring electoral reforms.

You said errors occured in the strongholds of both parties. But what you fail to reaslize is that, those "errors" are not acceptable regardless of whose stronghold it occured or did not occur. What kind of reasoning is that? Even if we accept errors as legitimate, doesn't your reasoning tell you that errors against both sides will differ in quantity, and thefore not the same to be treated as "let bygones be bygones"?

Election should NOT disadvantage any party: If it did, it SHOULD be nullified. Which part of this simple logic is eluding your comprehension?

The fact that you admit that the petitioners' case will bring ELECTORAL REFORMS is an admission of fraud on the part of the EC in the 2012 election, but your partisan lineage is preventing you from telling the truth. Otherwise, if the petitioners didn't bring this fraud to the court, would you have advised "electoral reforms" to begin with?

What at all do the writer of this article wants us to believe and know about over voting ? Indeed, over voting occurs when the number of votes contained in the ballot box exceed the number of persons registered to vote in that polling point or station so Mr Asiedu Nketia is right. The results of votes cast after counting done in the clear view of the public is known and announced which is then transmitted to collation centers . So in effect, elections are won at the polling centers and not by accounting as the NPP wants the people of Ghana to believe and that is very unfortunate.

This ghweb platform is full of ignorant pocket sized lawyers who define overvoting on party lines.

Remember not all registered voters vote; secondly, a registered voter with a ballot paper, who does not go through biometric verification before casting the vote does not qualify as a legal ballot voter.

The rule leaves no room for a registered, balloted voter, who was not biometrically verified, to vote or have such votes counted. The whole idea of biometric verification was to cut out the kuluulu stuffing of ballot boxes with ballots of voters who unknown to them had voted even though they never physically went to vote. This is the loophole Asiedu Nketia and co have been using to win elections. That is why biometric verification was meant to pu a stop to; unfortunately Asiedu has not updated his definition and understanding of over voting; still living in old kuluulu times

The NPP and their sympathizers can 'spin' this useless petition all they want,but they should realize that,the SC cannot overturn the verdict of the people Ghana!

These are contained and clearly stated in the handbook and which can be found on the website of the electoral commission and these handbook of regulations on the electoral process in Ghana have been copied to every registered political party and respective presidential candidates at every election year prior to each election. So our refusal to read and learn simple instructions should never be an excuse for others to self propound their theories and derive implied laws for the Courts to accept. Mr Asiedu Nketiah have taken that pain of reading and learning over the years. I entreat all persons who are lazy to read to take the opportunity to learn from him as mount the witness box.

If you advocate for some sort of trouble in Ghana because you think you have been wronged, then be reminded of where you are today and take a hard look at where you'd be when all is said and done. The people you are constantly threatening will not sit down and watch you do whatever you think you can do. You can take that to the bank!! Oh yeah, lest I forget, be prepared to send your kids to the front lines. Don't expect other peoples' children to do what you want while you cool your feet somewhere else. To each one of us; learn to love and respect our neighbor and there will be enough love to go around the world. Appreciate your life and whatever you have today for tomorrow, it may not be there.

He doesn't even know the definition of over voting. He has no knowledge of what is meant by voting without biometric verification. That man has really proved himself as someone who goofed all along the voting process. He does not understand anything. How can such a person be a party leader? He does not understand anything but I can bet he will disgrace himself when he goes through the cross examination. Tsatsu will attempt to put in a whole lot of objections when it comes to the cross examination. However, none of them will be sustained. They will all be overruled. Asiedu Nkatia is the most idiot in court.
