Supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) believed to be sympathizers of Omari Wadie are mobilizing people to besiege the Bureau of National Security (BNI) headquarters.

This is to sympathize with the former NPP Chairman for the Ayawaso West Wougon constituency who is suspected to be in the grips of the BNI.

Reports on Monday indicated that Omari Wadie was picked up on arrival at the Kotoka International airport from the UK.

The cause of his alleged arrest is yet to be established but sources say it was in connection with the circulation of nude pictures on social media networks showcasing fake sex photos of President John Mahama.

A member of the NPP Young Patriots group, Hopeson Adoye who earlier gave the BNI two hours ultimatum to release Omari Wadie hinted the supporters will be forced to sleep at the BNI offices if their colleague was not released.

According to him, some NPP members have already stormed the Police CID headquarters and the BNI headquarters in search of Omari Wadie to no avail.

Hopeson Adoye accused the BNI of infringing upon Omari Wadie’s fundamental human right by not allowing him to have access to his legal counsel.

Just remind him that when Kuffour made any international visit to any country, he brought so much money, I mean money that we did not need to pay back. That is what we expect from a sitting president. We will never forget president Kuffour because he never went for loans. He went for money that we did not need to pay back. That is what we need from a president, not a thief who will pay Woyome such a gargantuan money and the begin to pretend that he did not benefit from it. Mahama is a stupid fool. Watch out because if you go that futile and negative direction you will see some of us in the group that will go on protest, even if it is against you as President. When leaders/presidents lack vision in their administration to better the lives of their people, they turn to cheap and controversial things to make themselves popular and also keep the citizens unnecessarily occupied, with their attention diverted from the most important things useless thing.

I'm hereby, assuring the NDC, that if they fail to put some brakes on the speeding wheels of their youthful president, John Mahama, the electoral results of December 2016 is going to be extremely painful to come to terms with.
How do you NDC people think the ambitious steps Mahama is taking to build an international airport among many huge projects in the north is going to affect opinion of the southern electorate irrespective of which party they belong? It's going to be a disaster.
Now, the rules of he game have changed,and a president must pay more attention to his own part of the country(depending on where his mum and dad come from)and not where it's fair and just, for the general good and peaceful development of the country.
So, Mahama is now telling us that Kwame Nkrumah made a great mistake to have paid more attention to plight of the north instead of his own richer south, and for that matter, his own Western region.
We live to see!

However, we ought to wean ourselves from dependence on foreign direct investment. The foreign investor is only interested in making profit, not in development. hence we cannot rely on fdi to develop our countries.

Let us build our own capacity to invest in our country. that way, profits remain in-country and can be re-invested. This is the way to develop.
