We are not thinking as Ghanaians but rather, we think as belonging to a group known as "political party" and defend issues bothering our group or individuals in our group. A Minister or a Deputy Minister in the government of President Atta Mills (of blessed memory) came out that Akuffo Addo is a marijuana smoker. When asked to justify his allegations, the answer was "if it is not true, he Akuffo Addo should undergo a test at the hospital" Similar picture alleging President Mahama is fucking a lady was also put in the public domain where Akuffo Addo is fucking a woman. What kind of a nation are we building? Was the BNI happy when that of Akuffo Addo came out and nothing was done about it. Now it is the turn of our President, tomorrow it may be you. In my opinion, if Mr. Omari Wadie is the only person who have equipments to put such pictures out, he would never had put up a picture of Akuffo Addo in the same vein. All those publications should be condemned by Ghanaians and we should start thinking as Ghanaians.

  I sometimes get confused of the duties of BNI and that of the police in Ghana.There are certain duties in my opinion should be undertaken by the police, a sterio type of this is Mr Wadie's allegation and arrest. I think this case is a case that should be handled by the police instead of the BNI. A personal attack is always in my understanding persued by the police and not the BNI. Does it mean that the BNI has nothing to do and instead took over on its shoulder this assignment. I think the BNI should do better jobs related to the interest of the country and leave cases like this to the police. BNI should be civilised and follow other civilise countries when it comes to legitimate duties of this nature.

  I have, over the last several months, considered loose statements from this man as nothing but partisan rhetoric. Sometimes, that can be treated as myopic and forgiven, given the political climate. This latest one, on this doctored tape, is so infantile and far below the belt, it is not even funny.
  
  This is very disappointing, and cannot be excused. It does not only reflect badly on NPP, but clearly and fundamentally questions our maturity as nation.
  
  Are we so short of decent folk to take up leadership positions?
  
  And to think that he questions the atmosphere, by saying, "
  What kind of future are we building for the next generation?"
  
  I have finally lost whatever modicum of respect I may have had for this man!

A Minister or a Deputy Minister in the government of President Atta Mills (of blessed memory) came out that Akuffo Addo is a marijuana smoker. When asked to justify his allegations, the answer was "if it is not true, he Akuffo Addo should undergo a test at the hospital" Similar picture alleging President Mahama is fucking a lady was also put in the public domain where Akuffo Addo is fucking a woman. What kind of a nation are we building? Was the BNI happy when that of Akuffo Addo came out and nothing was done about it. Now it is the turn of our President, tomorrow it may be you. In my opinion, if Mr. Omari Wadie is the only person who have equipments to put such pictures out, he would never had put up a picture of Akuffo Addo in the same vein. All those publications should be condemned by Ghanaians and we should start thinking as Ghanaians

  Now the general secretary of a major political party calls for the president to go to court to "defend himself"!!! Against what? Is president Mahama party to this civil crime? This is a matter for the state to deal with as an act meant to defile the office of the president.
  
  For your information Mr Afriyie, this is a civil, NOT a political case, and is between the State and an individual ( or individuals). Does Afriyie know something about the genesis of this matter by any chance?
  
  It is clear to all now that Afriyie who claims to be a lawyer, is not at all fit to hold that title nor is he conversant with the laws of the land and in matters like this.
  
  How can someone like this be involved in politics at such a high level? I see why people like prof Akosah continue to characterise Ghanaian politicians as immature, unlearned and not prepared to learn!
