This man should not be given any position again because he headed an outfit that is so corrupt. Customs officers at the Tema harbour are extorting millions of cedis from importers by blackmail, under invoicing and daylight robbery. You ship a container of goods to Ghana and agents and customs officers charge you exhorbitant prices as if they are reselling the items to you. They then take a share to their bosses in their offices. It's really a shame. I was very ashamed when I came down to Ghana with some business partners and they have to witness this corruption.

Fred, its unfortunate that's the system here, you either pay or they inflate your duty levy. when you bribe the custom guy, your duty can go as low as 50%.

Customs and Excise is a strategic organisation in the state's income collection portfolio therefore whoever occupies the seat must be a leader (qualified). How does customs value a second car coming from abroad? How is the duty calculated? If you've lived abroad for some time what tax cerficate do you need? And why should it be compulsory to go through a clearing agent to clearing one's goods? Is an amount of GHC3000 not too much as an agent's fees? Customs is collecting its fair share of the taxes but at whose expense? What proportion if the collection is excise duty? Mr Controller, any way.

Tax payers are paying socalled CEOs for parallel functions, and besides not yielding much for now. Why is Alex Mould still at post when he does not know what he is doing except selling off assets? he is also alleged to be having business of conflict with national interst. he can not own an oil company and run NPA. Hid judgement will be prejudiced. Do I have relatives in this beef out there in Ghana? Remove Mould for doing nothing.
