I don't know which part of the country he hails from. But if he is an Ashanti, then that will confirm that the NPP leadership in the Ashanti does doesn't want Nana to be president in Ghana. This allegation is based on their pronouncements and actions.

The principal question is how do all the cacophony of Judges expected to over turn the verdict as demanded by the NPP translating in the exhibits , statements and definitions etc. to show that actually rigging or connivance took place!!!!! NPP has "a long road to Kigali" as (dreamt of by that Okoampah Ahoofe).

So far the NPP leading Council shows he is a disciplinarian but not a biting lawyer whose knowledge is so sharp to be able to throw up any formidable challenge to Tsatsu!!! Most of these noisy NPP lawyers and their parachicks who write adversely on Tsatsu were those who only envy the academic pedigree of the harmless and humble distinguished lawyer of first class extraction whose God is solid and does not yield in to empty mudslinging and nefarious attitudes of self praise and other megalomanaic virtuperations etc. Ghana cannot go the way of lies and cheating and it's only the courts that can expose those elements!! So we need to wait for the judicious judgement of the Supreme Court and not the over anxcious guys who are peddling false hoods.We must be aware that the nation Ghana is more important than any one person. So we should love the truth and the nation state than to peddle parochial tribal interests!!!

But let someone else do it, and he, the all knowing Brobbey is the first to Criticise. Only in his buckled brain does he see Asiedu Nketsiah's contradiction riddled testimony as Masterful. Thank God he is not a SC Judge, else we would have a buckled judgement on our hands which will destabilize our beloved Ghana. Bawumiah does not have to be A PhD in electoral issues, if you count more ballot sheets in the Box than Ballot sheets issued, you dont need a professor to tell you there has been "unidentified material" as Asiedu will put it, in the Box which needs to be annulled. To some of us, the issues are soo straight forward and simple that only disgruntled fellows like Tarzan and Kwame Pianim will strain to justify the unjustifiable. Even the so-called, legal wiz-kid of a Tsatu was strugling to defend the indefensible. Tarzan can speak all his Big English. Fortunatly, he is irrelevant so far as the determination of this case is concerened. I now understand why he is Good riddance for the NPP. Such characters are only found in the NDC. For your information Ghana is fast developing all institutions are functioning correctly in Ghana today. The Police Service are no more on the highways taking something from poor drivers. The Judiciary has been dispensing justice without fear or favour. Armed robery is a thing of the past. There will be no more mosquitoes in Ghana by 2014, and no more cholera by Dec.2013. The unemployment rate will be 5% by Dec 2014 and Ghana will give Nigeria a grant of US$100m to improve electricity supply. No more kayaye and all disabled, beggers and lunatics have workcamps. Three international airport would be operational by 2014, and all regional capital would be linked with 6 lane highways. The Ghana Railways is advertising for workers and have sent some of the adverts to Burkina Faso for workers. Serial callers and propaganda secreataries receive salaries in US$. the US President and the UK Prime Minister spend their leave day in Ghana.

Coming to the approach of the petitioners, if you have objective evidence, you don't go chasing subjective ones. Yes they had complaints of several goings on during the elections, but going to the law court should not be reduced to a 'he said- I said' matter. If anything untoward went on, surely, it would be manisfested on the pink sheet. The primary source for the tally is the pink sheet and if you have that, why go chasing stories which may be difficult to prove in court? I am glad Dr Wireko-Brobbey is not Lawyer. He would have let down his clients.

As a "common man", it can't be required of me to be very conversant with the labyrinth of electoral laws and their relevance in Ghana. Bawumia is an exceptional and singular affair all together. He was a Vice-Presidential candidate, and therefore by extension presidential. Bawumia could hold briefs for and act on behalf of the president, and this fact is contingent upon the president being incapable of assuming his functions due to a fact or another or just at the caprices of the president. It is therefore imperative that he informs himself of how elections are organized in Ghana. He needed to know.

Furthermore, one can't understand that Bawumia, who is privileged over others for the position, for any known reasons can't just reel in, throw his weight around as the Dr. Wise and yet fail to appraise himself with the process that was supposed to put him presiding over Ghanaians.

In retrospect, some of us know he would be blaming himself for his refusal to at least "know" something very little before rushing too confidently to court in what turned out to be his amateurish posture that made him look silly listening to himself.

On the other hand, where did this Brobbey regained his wisdom and intelligence all of a sudden? He was one example a failure. He didn't function well at all when he represented the state. He was also one thief who refused account on his management positions because Mills left him off the hook.

Akuffo Addo and his cohorts were so confident in their invisibility that they cannot seem to get over the fact that he lost the elections and in all probability his only opportunity to become President. He was being addressed as His Excellency even before the elections.

He must do the decent thing and hand over the affairs of the party to a younger and wiser generation. His General Secreatary, Party Chairman and Communications Directorate must all leave. We need a credible opposition party ready to govern and not a personal fiefdom.

Once again Wireko-Brobbey (no fan of mine) has called it right and a "spade as spade". I am glad his assessments corroborate my own a few days back when I thought Nketiah had had a good showing during his witnessing in court. Before I go any further I have to say I am sure the "die-hard" non-objective extremist elements of the NPP will come at Dr Wireko-Brobbey, all guns blazing calling for him to be "crucified" for saying what I believe is the TRUTH.

Sadly, I have always argued that it was wrong, unwise and quite daft to have the presidential candidate and his vice, and the chairman of the party as petitioners in this case.

I would have expected just one of those, and if (as Wireko-Brobbey has rightly suggested) they the NPP felt they needed a 'second' person, they should have gone for someone who was directly involved (onmj their side) in the negotiations and arrangements for the elections, not Dr Bawumiah who (in others' view within the NPP) is a 'technocratic econommetrist' with such analytical brains that he would put us all to shame.

I have never believed in the guy as one with significant intellectual prowess (but I say this not because of this case, but primarily because I read the full transcript of what was a terrible economic analysis he presented in a rather important annual lecture in May 2012). He made it worse, with his basic arithmetic errors in the so-called "analysis" which formed the core basis of the arguments he sought to put forward in this petition.

That he was unconvincing in his attempts to re-define, twist and misrepresent facts and figures, (some of which were clearly in the public domain) was there for all to see, hear, watch and listen to.

There is no denying those facts, and on that showing alone, I agree entirely with Dr Wireko-Brobbey that on the face of it he appears a 'less credible witness' and may have cost the NPP some vital points in the area of trust, truthfulness and authority of the facts, electoral laws, bye-laws and the happenings in the last elections.

As to what effect (s) these obvious and to me, quite basic lapses would affect the expert opinions of the supreme justices is anyone's guess but honestly, from the court of public opinion and especially in the eyes, ears and minds of majority of right-thinking, neutral Ghanaians who simply want to get to the truth and to see our country move forward, I believe I am right in saying that Dr Bawumia was a very poor second to Nketiah in demonstrating his grasp of events, laws, their interpretation (whether you agree or or not) and his indigenous knowledge of how elections work in practice.

But the question is: why would you put such a person as your key witness in such a landmark case if he is not so versatile in his knowledge and application. Yes, he may be a brilliant econometrist and as one very keen supporter and defender of his emotionally sought to get across to me several weeks ago, he may have contributed "significantly to Ghana's monetary policy and currency". But as I pointed out to my good friend Baffour (his name was), he could not, and did not lead or do any of his work at the Bank of Ghana on his own and I seriously doubt if the issues of monetary policy and currency work were HIS ORIGINAL idea in the first place.

I believe that we need to be honest, truthful and objective at all times (even when it hurts) and more importantly, we should think Ghana in all we try to do and say. It is a pity to me that Dr Bawumia allowed himself to be seen by the public in a rather negative light and I suspect this will not be the last we hear about him and his political fortunes.

Having said that, were the ruling to go in his favour, I shudder to think what a 'political earthquake' would have occurred in Ghana, and what the implications will be for "being economical with the truth" in the future of Ghana politics and governance.

His cluelessness led to putting out a lot of assertions, superstitions, personal interpretations of law, which may be wickedly exposed when the law as it stands on the face of it and the interpretation as understood by His Lordships are brought together in the judgment of this landmark case.
