This is what I wrote elsewhere.

Just like Arthur-K could not find a better place to share his views except on Media outlets, the same could be happening to Tarzan; that is why he keeps on going to the Media, instead of the leaders. When people are not allowed a common forum to discuss their dissenting opinions, they would find another place to do that.

After writing his book, Arthur-k has become an outsider in the Akyem Mafia led party. They insulted and called him names on FM radios and told him to take a hike. If you have listened to Tarzan, you will know that the same thing has happened to him and that is why he is no more going directly to the leaders but going to the Media. He said after spending time preparing in writing what NPP needed to do to win the election, the leaders not only rejected his ideas, but were not ready to allow him to be among them at that time. They told him plainly, they have implemented some of his ideas and are about to implement the others. Just like that; they let him go. So I ask, how do such people voice their opinion to the very people who are not ready to accept them?

Well, I support Arthur-K in writing this publicly. I think it will help the "boys" to think twice before they act stupidly next time. It will also forces the leaders to act urgently to bring sanity in the dying party. NPP will lose if they failed to listen to the wisdom of Arthur-K. They failed to listen to him when he wrote that book, I hope they do not attack him and listen to him this time.

NPP is in emergency department for the stroke its suffered last year. It is still in coma and the earlier its "doctors" put their act together, the better to stop stop the party from dying. The reason is this- The judges will rule in favor of NDC and EC, not because they won, but because of fear of what might happen to our Nation if the ruling goes against the President. So after wasting a year or so to fight for this, they will come back to know that they need only 3 yrs to regroup for another election. This is where the problem begins; Allan Kyerematen would not allow Bawumia to be the head. It would be over his dead body. But the Akyems would not accept Kyerematen to be their head since he has never be on the side of Akufo. Just like the UNC and PFP case, NPP will divide again, this time the Northerners siding with the Akyems against the Ashantis. This is not a prediction, but a prophecy. This is why NPP needs to be closed for repairs as Dole told the GOP.

And when it is closed and "FOR REPAIRS" sign is posted on the door, they might need to change everything about the party. Searching for leadership from other other tribe- GA, Fanti, Northerner or BA man, other than Asante and Akyem should be their number priority. No one should sell this to me that, no better leader could not be found somewhere except from those two tribes. And no one should also tell me that Alan is is a Fante. No, Ghanianians see him as Asante and so will that be. They also need to get rid of the older men and use younger men like Arthur-K. They might also have to star training the polling agents. And these polling agents should be allowed to become delegates and be given a little so that they can't be bought etc..etc.. without that, they are not coming back soon. It is sad, but true.

The immediate question is; how did the dead man come to sign his own personal tribute, since he is already in heaven?

From the trend of Dr. Arthur's letter, very comprehensive efforts including serious observations within the current npp party leadership, have been made, which indeed call for grave thinking, if the party wishes to address the political needs of Ghanaians and make a headway, but unfortunately, the "extremes" in the party are constantly and aggressively preventing such healthy moves. Many had tried to bring sanity into the party but couldn't stand the irrational tensions which the present leaderships have surrounded themselves. The only alternative now is to go public and raise alarm, because many newcomers are seriously damaging the integrity of the party, which is widely an open secret. Dr Arthur has made and he's always making brilliant and highly intelligent contributions in terms of national issues, but this is surely not in the interest of the extremes and also beyond their understanding.What a beautiful and intelligent write-up. Bravo!!!

I find both Dr Wereko-Brobbey and Dr Arthur K ennedy's resort to the media on 'homematters' unacceptable.

Dr Wereko-Brobbey could have written to the Executives of the party on the performance (while proceedings were on-going) of Dr Bawumia and made suggestions as to how to improve upon his performance at the court. No well meaning member of a group (in this case a political party)party would go public this way. How much more going to the press to "compare and contrast" his own member's (Dr Bawunia) performance to that of an opposition, Mr Asiedu Nketia.

Then, this open letter from Dr Arthur Kennedy! If he meant well, one would not expect him to give copies to the press. I know for sure that Jake would not have given copies to the press. The advice is a purely internal matter - from a well-meaning member of the NPP to the party's Chairman. Period!

What I gather from theses two incidence and numerous others on the political scene is that it looks like Ghanaians think that democracy is simply putting everything out into the public domain. It is never so. Some matters are definitely for public and must not be kept internal. So are some which are better handled internally. In the latter instance,it is only when efforts to get the expected reaction from internal structures that they may be brought to the public

Ok, Ok, I know you among those who want to kill off and/deport Ewes (Gas recently added for diversification) to Togo, which agenda of some in the NPP is more extreme than suspending Tarzan "Akpalolo" Wereko-Brobbey. With the daily insults directed at Northerners these days - natafuo, pepeni and what not - you guys can kiss goodbye to their votes in 2016 too. Bawumia would be considered a traitor if he is even the candidate, the same way the late Quashiga was seen in even his home town of Kedzi.

BTW, did he really mention that their tilapia was stolen?! His nickname at VRA was "Akpalolo", i.e., Ewe for big tilapia! Ha! ha! ha! He developed a taste for tilapia beyond anything anyone had seen at Akosombo. His gargantuan daily orders made some fishermen very rich indeed.

At the time Nana Addo & Co were trembling before JJ and could not open their mouth, Tarzan set up Radio Eye when it was illegal to do that. Tarzan eventually won the battle with the PNDC and the airwaves were liberalised. While Tarzan was fighting galantly and single-handedly against JJ during the height of the revolution, Nana and the rest were so frightened that they kept mute. Nana simply increased his wee smoking just to cope with the frustration.

Th is is to show that Tarzan cannot be cowed by cowards like Nana Addo.

Secondly, Martin Amidu's case was different. It was much wider in scope and non-partisan.....he was seeking to protect the interest of Ghana as a nation by intending to go after people like Alfred Woyome who had obviously duped the nation of over GHC50 million. This was creating discomfort for the NDC as a party because Woyome is an NDC stalwart and he had used part of that money to finance NDC campaign as well as the building of NDC new headquarters.

I personally see Wereko Brobbey and Arthur Kennedy as traitors. They are yearning to become president one day but cannot find an appropriate and workable avenue. Arthur K was far too ambitious and unreasonable to have contested the NPP presidential primaries for election 2008. He shouldn't have attempted it at that time at all.

If NPP disagree with discerning opinions,it is better they do the suspension across the country,for there are countless party supporters who consider the court action to be unnecessary.
Again,many are the supporters who also feel the party is eventually becoming a bonafide property of the defeated flag-bearer, Nana Akufo Addo.

Similarly unhealthy extremism is not conducive to good party politics. Intolerance and unhealthy extremism have for instance taken a toll on the Republican Party in the United States and its NPP cousin in Ghana is not far behind.

Led by the NPP, if the Ghanaian brand of Conservatism does rebrand, it will sentence itself to perpetual opposition. Right now the Republican Party according to its National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus is "Closed for repairs" and the gist of what Dr. Kennedy is trying to convey to his beloved party is that it also needs to do the same. In other words, the NPP needs a critical review of itself in order to be able to deal with its internal challenges effectively.

The most funniest thing about this party is that, they have never won an outright election before,without banning an opposition party, and they are always the first to protest any election in GH.

Fact is, the party is not a healthy party, and was built out of anger, after Nkrumah came and took all the glory from them. No wonder akufo-addo and the npp as a party have not come to state their opinion on the latest threat from he western world about gays. He and his party would have condoled and kowtowed to anthing from these very thieves from the western world, who looted mother Africa soo much and are still doing it.

What Ghanains should also remember is that, the members of this party don't mind throwing bombs around.

In real life he's a traitor, or if it was a national thing he could be charged with treason. Treasonable offence could lead one into jail or death sentence, depending on which country one belongs to.

One may say that this is party levels so everything should be cool. I disagree! Wereko-Brobbey's comments or actions on the election petition case before the Supreme Court cannot be taken lightly. There shouldn't be any compromise here. The man is absolutely wrong! It's so bad people can make such public comments when the case is still on-going.

Wereko-Brobbey should be desciplined! He is not above anyone in the NPP executives or leadership set up. He cannot even manage organizations which he's been put in charge properly, eg. VRA. Over there, he nearly got lynched by angry workers because of his character and crazy comments.

Comments by unscrupulous characters like Wereko-Brobbey hurts the party. There's no room for sympathy, as what seems to be the case here. Horrible comment about Dr. Bawumia, who's the party's chief witness is simply absurd! Wereko-Brobbey should have known better; he should act as matured man or person who fits the status of a Doctor or Engineer.

It is good that Dr Kennedy has recognised the ills of his party and is seeking for a sober reflection on the part of its current leadership. The sad truth though is that the very people he is writing to, are those responsible for the divisions, snobbery and the level of intolerance, bigotry and divisions in our country.

What the NPP needs is a root and branch overhaul and if they are to take Kennedy's concerns seriously, following the election petition, the NPP will NEED a complete REVOLUTION in terms of its entire leadership structure and how it organises its grassroots. Plurality is currently lacking in the party and what NPP like any other party needs is to seriously address its core philosophy and short comnings as far as the WHOLE nation is concerned.

Frankly they have a lot of work to do to repair the serious damage they are doing to social cohesion not just int heir own party but in the country as a whole.

Unless, and until they address these issues, I predict that their electoral fortunes will be curtailed because the Ghanaian electorate is wiser, smarter and more educated on the issues and will not stand for parties that seek to divide our nation rather than help build it.

I do not belong to the NPP (nor to any other party) but I believe that not only does Ghana NEED a healthy and strong and objective opposition, it needs balanced parties who after all, wish to run the COUNTRY when they win elections, not to RULE without proper and balanced representation including voices of opinion which differ from that of others in leadership.

Perhaps Arthur Kennedy would do well to explore and canvass views and form a committee within the party to map out where they are going wrong and devise a medium to long term plan to address the party's needs.

NPP, NPP, is this lawful? to suspend somebody for telling the truth? i thought you all claim to be democratically minded people but your followers keep insulting Randy Abbey, Arthur K, Former Accra Chairman, Former President, and all others, insulting the justices of the SC when case did not go there way? ohhh, NPP, Nana Addo has really taken over the power from everybody. can't you all see that, since NANA ADDO start his race for power, things has not gone down well with the party both within and in the country at large, look at what happen to Alen Cash, i think its time that we the NPP should consider our future and allow NANA ADDO to take a retirement from politic so we can have our future back after the good image our Former President Kuffour brought to us, we are disappointed with the situation Nana Addo is taking us to. how can our star witness say he is not aware of the day to day print out of the register, how can he claim you and I, are not there, so if you and I, are not there, how did you then get to know what happen at the polling station, he also claim he has record of above 3000 FO's, when in fact the EC said we have over 70 FO's, now my fellow NPP, are we to accept NPP record or that of the EC, i think we should stop this SC case and come home to vote our the current leaders that we have, they really disappoint us, when others are following the game, our leaders and chairman are all over shouting no verification no vote instead of doing the work, verification is done once not twice on the day of voting, now, if we claim some people voted without going through verification, then how did our MP get to parliament? because the people who voted also undergo biometric before voting and it was done once on the day of voting which also got them into parliament, i think we are missing something here my NPP, before somebody will vote on the election day, he will only go through biometric verification once not twice and after he vote for president and parliamentary, so how can you now say somebody voted without going biometric and today the MP's are in parliament, then they should also be out of the parliament because people who voted for them as claim by our own party leaders did not go through biometric verification, we need to ask God to forgive us with this new leaders that we have, NPP is going down and we need to do something with the right minded person who care for the party.

Sad becasue we can not afford to have a one party State in this country. Honestly speaking, the NPP has lost all credibility as a political party since former president Kufour left the scene. The part is unattractive to moderates because of their tribalistic sentiments against none Akans. The party lacks directions hence every so called member is a spokesman, and could speak on things they have no iota of idea. Some of these things are done to win favor from Akufo Addo and some are done to show that they are also part of the team.

With reagrds to attack against party members who say the truth like Tarzan, the least say about it the better. I am not going to mention names, but if the NPP can muster courage and sack some of these miscreants among them, then, they can be seen to be getting serious and moving somewhere. The party has become property of certain selfish few people. Now, for a start, get Owusu Afriyie sacked from the party immdediately! This guy lacked what it takes to be secretary of such a great party! Sack Ken Agyapong! Sack Kofi Jumah! Sack Awuku and Karbo and replace Jake! If you have the courage to do these, which I have no doubt you can, you can will back stronger than before. A word of advise.

Their sideshows give the impression of a dysfunctional party in disarray and the posturings always make good fodder for the opposition gossip columnists and conspiracy theorists. Whilst it makes good sense to beware of friends who are always pitting one side of the party against the other the resulting cracks may also run deep.
Some feathers have surely been ruffled in the party. Yes, it is, so why has the man with the perception of being the loose cannon of the party,Mr Wireko Brobbey's transgressional effusions raised such a furor among the party hierachy and party faithfuls?This is a family feud. My judgement is both sides have erred and they should sit down in the supreme interest of the party they love and smoke the peace pipe.We are the party. We can work it out.

All of a sudden some NPP flagbearer hopefuls are boiling with jealousy towards BAWUMIA and they are using rather clever ways to make it look like they are just being truthful. The fact is Wereko Brobbey and Arthur Kennedy are fearful that with the popularity that Bawumia has gained through the election petition case they may not stand a chance against him if ever there was a contest for the flagbearership of NPP.

Arthur Kennedy and Wereko Brobbey are both cowards who cannot face Bawumia squarely in any contest so they have chosen to downplay the good work that he did for NPP. Anyone who can two and two together can tell that their atterances are all driven by jealousy.

This is done Back Home and even abroad.
Instead of them to come together and combine ideas, they attack with bully, threat and insult.
Mr. Wereko-Brobby and Mr. Kwame Pianim , please don't worry! Ghanaians hate the truth !
I'm facing this same problem here in China because I've criticize the poor performance of our leaders !
But you Guys should take it from me, Oneday, the Ghana you see today will totally change !
