  The opening paragraph states, “I came to serve; I have finished my time here on earth and have moved on to everlasting rest and celestial duties with my heavenly father.”
  
  The immediate question is; how did the dead man come to sign his own personal tribute, since he is already in heaven?
  
  The letter then goes on melodramatically, “As you leaf through these pages of my life’s story, I pray to God that it touches your heart in many positive ways. Weep not, I am not dead. I am alive and awake in the Lord. Ghana will not die; Ghana will live to declare the works of the Lord. Please come back from retirement to lead the house cleaning movement again.You are only retired but not retarded.   House cleaning in your context as I understand is making sure people like yourself explain why they have more than one house and also explain where they are getting their monies from if they are rich. Failure to do so would result in seizure of all you have to the state, go to prison or in the worse scenario die for been rich without explanation.
  
  With this clear and simple thought in mind, you will fall a victim because when you came to power with the help of Boakye Gyan and others after your failed Coup attempt, you did not possess all that you have now.
  
  Would you be patriotic enough to come out and declare all your assets just before you came to power in 1979 up to date and how you acquired them and let your wife do same? After that, could you order all those Ministers and other Staff who served under you to do same?
  
  It is only after doing this that people will take you as serious otherwise hold your peace forever.

  As a former revolutionary Cadre of the then INCC based at the State House, I'm still struggling to come to terms as to how did the revolution failed so miserably, what went wrong, where we went wrong and how at the end of the first year of the revolution, most of all the strongly and selflessly committed revolutionaries were either chased into exile, dismissed from the main stream government or murdered like what pathetically happened to Kwame Adjima and co with more also left languishing in prison without charges or trials in conflict with the ideas of the revolution for freedom to our people.
  
  Come to think of it that strongly ideologically based Pan-Africanists leftists like Jonny Hassens, Chris Atims, Nyeya Yens, Kutanas, Ama Atta Aidoos, Yaa Asieduas, Jude Quarshies, Dr. Bawas, Kofi Ashieboy Mensahs, Cynthia Asieduas, Kisiedus, the Kwaku Bakos, Amenkos, Nubours, Ato Austins and most patriotic organizations with leftist ideologies like PANIMOS, KNRGS, AYCS and all the original membership of June 4th, the TUCs and most Pan-African movements unbelievably made to disorganized and become vocally dormant.
  
  It is now my strong conclusion after thoughtful political analysis and the despicable privatization adopted policies, devaluations, workers redundancies, senseless adoptions and murders, oppression and suppression of press freedoms, horrible abuses of human rights and freedoms of speech which were all what the revolution came to restore to bring hope to our people, the taken over for free of privatized state properties like GIHOC, GNTC, State Hotels by the Rawlings family and their criminal cronies and with the ethnocentric "nyebro" thing, I think I'm hundred percent right, Rawlings was a CIA paid agent.

  Our past leaders except a few have continually run this country down, especially the military regimes. There has been so much disruption to our march forward towards becoming a prosperous nation. Sadly some of our more recent governments continued to let this country down. Corruption now is unprecedented. Look at what is happening now. I am talking about the threat to our environment and natural resources posed by galamsey, especially the Chinese with their heavy machinery, decimating our rivers and forests, killing and raping our people and the government does nothing to stop it. Look at the poverty all over the place. It takes a brave man to remain patriotic to such a country. After all, who is willing to die for a country that does little for you. Look at our body politics of today. We only insult each other and seek our own selfish interests first at the expense of the nation, instead of standing together to resist and defend our motherland from this colonization of the Chinese and send these misfits back to where they belong. Our leaders must first show patriotism by doing for the people first before they do it for themselves. Let's stop pitching tribe against each other. Let our country earn patriotism from us.
