GHANABA 1, I agree perfectly with the assertion that they would have been treated differently if they were to belong to a different social class. Even a British drug trafficking teenager, who had no family in Ghana, had her identity protected, while we treat our own nationals like sub-humans, not worthy of benefiting from universal declarations and ethics.
But I don't agree that we should be on the side of the unprofessional police by just 'crying our own cry'. All of us must be on the side of the victims and their family, like Afua and condemn the both the police and the the mediocre journalistic practice in the country.

Do you think you can hide under the anonimity of the Internet? You must be a kid to think that way. I advise that you apologize to Asiedu Nketiah. I made a similar mistake when I was 22 and it continues to hunt me even after 60 years. I wrote a note and pasted it on a notice board at the UG Legon while contesting an election, which I knew was false.

as i read this article i couldnt help but shed a tera.its really sad listening to these teenagers and how they found themselves in these circumstances.these girls can easily be murdered for rituals without the knowledge of their wards.why would any parent abondon their children at this age to go and fend for themselves?the world is not safe anymore unlike days of our grandmothers.i think authorities whould deal severely with parents who neglect the welfare of their kids because the kids are not to blame.they didnt asked to be born.its praents responsibility to cater for them,if you know you cannot abstain from sex resulting to unwanted pregnancy and the inability to cater for your children ,then be wise enough to use protection.
