What about those who stood in to bring the team this far? Let's be careful not to hurt others feelings. You never know what others can do till they're given the chance to prove. Chelsea needs Essien so much. He wasn't rejected by Chelsea. The coach just didn't know how to use him to fit his selection and coming out from recovery it wasn’t easy for him too. The coach thought otherwise of him and didn’t have patience with him. Essien is one player on this planet today that could have valued at the highest level. May be the only world class utility player in modern classic formations. It has to take an outstanding coach to realize that. Believe one day JM will say this to the world that Essien has been underrated. Essien understand high level formation. Look at the games he played and that of those he didn’t at RM and if you understand what soccer is, you will realize everything I have said about him. Now the problem if he comes back will be, if KA can use him well to fit his plans for BS. May be the roll Kwasi Appiah tried to use Kwadwo Asamoah in the Cup of Nations that didn’t work, Essien would be best for that and JM plays him in that same roll several times in Chelsea and Real Madrid. Or to play Ayew and Asamoah Gyan up front with Essien, Kevin Boateng, controlling affairs in the midfield and the Kwadwo Asamoah and Inkoom at the ends back and forth. Muntari and those kids on the block could be part of this as solid substitutes. We must begin to think of world class soccer now if we need to go further in and beyond Brazil 2014.
Our problems are formations and how to use the boys period. We have talented players for sure but we may be doing something wrong with them. Please let us stop criticizing our boys as if they owe the nation of patriotism. May be we all does so let us stop discouraging them for once. Gush!!!

Have you read from somewhere if even Ghana spends a cent on his recovery process or someone even paid him a visit to check how he was doing? If you do not know playing soccer is Essien’s solely profession. He may not have gone to college and his whole life is based on this profession. To be honest with you, do you or have you ever heard of the name Cantona? Can you tell me who he is and his situation also? I can give you at least 20 highly world class soccer players that at one time in their career they chose to sit aside for national duties. I don’t understand why you guys are so shallow minded about this Essien issue. Please I am not cursing you here but it is just unbelievable you guys are ignoring what is reality. At the pick of Essien’s career, he shoulder to shoulder with Appiah , Munteri and co did all they could to bring Ghana at the highest level that previous efforts could not. You can choose to call them or not just like the many good black star materials that you wasted and treated poorly. How many good games did essien play for ghana? Yet when he got injured in the african cup what happened? Ghana shipped his ass back to chelsea for treatment. Do you know for a fact if GFA even followed up to check on his recovery? Yet at the same time GFA had time and money to fly around europe chasing unpatriotic players like balletolli just to convince him to play for ghana. When Dede was playing the african cup with a shoulder injury for ghana did any of you ever consider the risk that another injury on that same shoulder could end his career? When Jordan, one of the youngest players in the tournament was playing his heart out like every other grown ass black stars player on the field and attracting all those "career ending" hard tackles that most players will shy away from and give the ball away, was he begged to play? When Kevin had that thigh injury in the world cup but forced himself to play our next game risking himself for ghana(**what if another injury on it ended his career**) was he being ungrateful? Would you have remembered kevins sacrifice for ghana if that injury had ended his career? Once again did the GFA followed up on that injury after the world cup? Look let's stop all this we don't need them bullshit we sound very backward. When you go shopping, among all the shops that are open don't you chose where, when and what to buy ? So if the shop owner gives you a bad deal/transaction, will you keep going there because the owner comes from your hometown? Ahaa!! Same principle applies.

Secondly, I know for a fact that if all odds goes against us in these coming 2 matches, and the Ghana vs Zambia match in kumasi will be the final decider for us to make it to the world cup, these same ghanaians saying we don't need ayews,essien and kevin will blame the current squad and coach and start begging and shouting for coach Appiah to call ayews,essien and kevin for the zambia match. LOOk, the ayews,essien and kevin have already made it they play in top leagues, they didn't and still won't loose anything not playing for ghana, but Ghana stand a great chance of winning the world cup if they really play their hearts out for Ghana. Let's be grateful for their return that is if even they do and stop the backward thinking, Ghana must win the 2014 world cup!!!!!!!!!!

Ghanaians should not lose sight of the fact that Dede Ayew was invited to the Black Stars but declined to honour the invitation because his junior brother Jordan was not invited, giving all sorts of excuses.
I don't think it would be proper for any member of the Black stars management team to force Kwasi Appiah to include Jordan Ayew in the Black Stars team. The coach must be given the free hand to do his job without any interference from any quarters. After all there are better players than the Ayews in the Black Stars camp at the moment. Nobody should be pampered to think that without him the Black Stars cannot win matches.
Rather, we can lose matches when we field players who are not disciplined with bloated egos like Dede and Jordan Ayew.
Indeed, the current Black Stars players play better without the Ayew brothers. For those clamouring for the return of the Ayews, which position is Dede Ayew going to play? He cannot match Kwadwo Asamoah and Wakaso. Jordan is only riped to captain the Satellite team. Please give the coach the free hand to execute his task without any interference.

We will win the next 2 matches but we need all hands on deck for Zambia. They beat us back to back and we cant afford to lose. They wont be playing too. Whether Prince-Kevin Boaten or Michael Essien, or Jordan Ayew, or Dede Ayew or whoever, it is time for us to assemble our best in september in that crucial match against Zambia or else we risk losing out.
