Yes you can't choose your height, race or tribe because there is no alternate natural means of doing that but when it comes to sexual orientation, there is a natural acceptable alternative to having sexual gratification. So it is a choice when one decides to be putting his penis in a tube made for transporting faeces.
Secondly all natural desires, including sexual desire are under the control of the will. Their control mechanism is not external to the individual's nervous system like the control of the chemical substance which makes his/her skin black.
Moreover, among all the seven life processes/activities, reproductive activity is the only one that the survival of the individual organism is not tied to, for example no animal can survive without respiring,excreting waste, responding to change like danger among others. But that organism can live without engaging in reproductive activity. So the option to engage in reproductive activity is a choice for that organism. Now if the desire to get involved in the activity itself is a choice, how can the way the activity is carried out (sexual orientation) not be a choice and described as immutable.
Dr Kissi, answer me, there are some people who claim they have strong desire for human flesh - cannibalistic desire, should we describe that desire to be immutable and allow them to be killing and eating fellow human beings though such people could eat fufu, banku, kenkey, rice and others and still survive and maybe grow even better.
