What charges will be preferred against the father? Is it an offence to talk to the media and what happened to free speech in Ghana? Did the father make false allegation/s against the police? No, because the evidence is on the face of the pink sheet and that is, his son was beaten or brutalised by the police and he ended up in hospital. What about the police officer they are alleging the son beat him?

This is absolute rubbish from the police and ACP Abass should be ashamed of himself. The IGP must order investigation into the matter and stop the planned prosecution. Again, the father should sue the police if he can afford it.

We should not condone with police brutality. We saw what happened at Cantonment and this could happen to anyone. The police are criminals and they must be stopped. One would have thought that the PIP would have been charged to investigate this matter and make their report public for all Ghanaians to really know what happened; then in this case if the police were right they would receive public sympathy and support. As it is, our sympathy is with the victim and I call for public to demonstrate against the police if they dare and go ahead with their fiticious charge.

Please Mr. ACP, relax the process and grant the boy police bail and put an honest investigation in place to unveil the truth then prosecute the offender(even if it's one of you). But you can't put the cart before the horse. Thank you.

A lot of people have once been in the service, yet, many are now relinquishing in mental disarray due to bad habit they exhibited during their service period. many there those who killed, robbed ,maltreated, rapped, lied or showed of uniform power. Check the records, many service personnel becomes private security guards at various establishment to the extend that their core duties are just manning gates of ordinary people or their garages. Please, the policemen, soldiers, Immigration officers, fire officers and the warders should be in informed that posterity would judge them.

One thing they should bear in mind is that, time runs "faster than they may think". A lot of people have once been in the service, yet, many are those who are relinquishing in mental disarray after they have been sacked, terminated or pensioned from the service, or due to bad habit they exhibited during their service period. Average number of these men killed, robbed, maltreated, raped, lied or showed of "uniform power".
Check the records, many service personnel becomes private security guards at various establishments to the extent that their core duties are just manning gates of ordinary people or garages. Lt general, inspector general, field marshal, brigadier general, staff sergeant etc are all irrelevant when one comes out of service. A "watchman" to be precise are their last title.
The policemen, soldiers, Immigration officers, fire officers and the warders should be informed that posterity would judge them.
