You have to bear in mind that the Akans are one people with different dialects. If we have to be true to ourselves, the Akans are not tribalitic as some people may say. Akans do not build kingdoms any where they settle in Ghana. Akans do not have a church name after their tribe name. Akans, whether the fantis, akyems, ashantis, akwapims, ahafo, borons, ahantas, ahafos, assins, wassa and others are all loving people and they co-habit peaceful with their neighbors.If the president has authored a book, its a great achievement for him, we are all proud about him. He loved it so much and still raves about it. I strongly recommend it to every Ghanaian who likes to read. It's insightful, thoughtful and funny. I am not surprised that professor Elizabeth Carlson ha nade it a required readind for her Intro to African Politics course at Yale.

This attempt at propaganda falls flat on the face. First the title is a poor choice thus many will shun the book for that reason. Judging from the likes of Asiedu Nketia and othersaround him JM is not likely to getany good feedback for his project as he is surrounded by yes men who lack creative judgement. I don't think it is a bad book at all but it is not excellent and I have given one good reason why this is not. The low number of reviews tells a fact that even propaganda cannot change. Leave Ghanaians alone NDC these are serious times for serious reflections.
