We should be careful who we bring in and who we take out, we should also be careful what we say about individual players, all they need is our love and support.

Yes he smashed Abedi's record. The difference is Abedi was not a striker, he was a midfielder. Therefore the comparison is a bit off, it seems like comparing apple to bread.

Yo! Meeeennnhh… you know what we’ll do to you if you dont force our coach to make this qualification possible. No room for errors. the Final Game in Ghana Must be a party thats all i’ll say for now.
Mulenga pulu on Fri, 7th Jun 2013 10:04 am
By the way we know about your(GHANA) arrangement with sudan to frustrate Zambia we l report you for match fixing ku Fifa .
Chipolopolo on Fri, 7th Jun 2013 10:06 am
Mr Nyanteni key, what are you going to do about it, because your black star are not going to Brazil?
BoardRoom on Fri, 7th Jun 2013 10:19 am
@chipoliopolio ur mediocre team is rather not going to Brazil. U can only score a second tier team in ur country with two separate teams & u want to qualify to Brazil. Wait & look at what Blackstar will do to Sudan today. For sure u will draw with Lesotho bcos u can’t use ur two separate teams this time round! Hahaha!!!
Troy on Fri, 7th Jun 2013 10:23 am
@Mulenga Pulu, dont forget you need to back your allegation with Substancial Evidence when you think of reporting. but its a pity you’ve started finding faults and excuses should incase you failed to win all the remaining 3 matches. its very appalling. Our FA prez has tasted world cup twice and so is our players and they know how sweet it is that alone is a motivation for our players and the FA they want to make name as we did in 2010. so u guys should know why He is saying that.
Kofi on Fri, 7th Jun 2013 10:33 am
Why should you zambians be raising baseless allegations about a match-fixing saga of other teams when u have almighty Lessotho to defeat?……..For once rally behind ur team at the expence of other people’s business…….coz i dnt see u progressing to the next of the qualifiers…’mark my words’

@boardroom ape, move your a.s.s to GSN.
Africa4Ghana on Fri, 7th Jun 2013 10:44 am
I see Ghana Sudan match as a done deal for Ghana. This is simply because the Sudanese are angry about the boardroom points awarded to Zambia. In this case they would prefer Ghana to go to Brazil 2014 than Zambia. The best Zambia can do is to win all the three matches which in my opinion will be very very difficult looking at their recent performance.
Big Steve 4rm SA on Fri, 7th Jun 2013 10:47 am
Ghanaian’s came out with stu-pid unfounded allegations before the Zambia-Lesotho game claiming Lesotho were going to let the game slide Zambia’s way so as to ensure a Southern African team is in Brazil. So Ghanaian’s should learn to not spit in the wind lest the spit flies back into your face.

There is not doubt that both Lesotho and Sudan will be dispatched. I trust the Chipolopolo boys. Tomorrow, three points is assured. Sudan will likewise be slaughtered next week.

Zambia 2 – 0 Sudan

@Vinkubala lol, you have made my day. You know what, I have a Ghanaian friend here with a flat back head. He is is very good friend of mine and very nice guy. So I sometimes tease him about his flat back head. We normally debate as to who will qualify to Brazil. But I should actually say that my Ghanaians friend has admitted that Zambia is very good side.

Zambia 3 Lesotho 0, Zambia 2 Sudan 0,Zambia 2 Ghana 1. Chapter closed next please?
Mulenga pulu on Fri, 7th Jun 2013 12:36 pm
There things that happen off the pitch that sometimes affect the outcome on the pitch u remember jean pierre diramba(1993) so this is why as Zambians we get concerned when the Sudanese Fa president says they know they are not going to the world cup but are bent on frustrating those with a chance.Between Zambia and Ghana who is Sudan trying to frustrate? its anybodys guess
WEAK CHIPOLOPOLO on Fri, 7th Jun 2013 1:06 pm
Zambian was thrashed 2-0 by Sudan away, won 1-0 against Ghana at home and drew 1-1 with Lesotho away. It shows Zambians are bad away performers. It will be amply demonstrated when Zambia plays away against Ghana in September. But for the three points awarded them on SILVER PLATTER from Sudan, they would have been trailing badly behind Ghana and Sudan. Ghana does not need free points. Ghana wants to win on merit.

May the best teams be at the WC2014. This coming wc is a special one for africa. We are breaking barriers and setting records at this wc.
I see an african team in the semi’s for the 1st time.
We want the best teams there this time around and not teams that will shame africa. 3 out of the 4 teams going there must qualify for the 2nd round.
Zambia why are you wasting your time?
You damn well know that at the moment your game is zero. You lose to small teams and you have the potential to shame africa.
My vote is on Ghana but anhow it goes, may the best teams make it.
Chineke on Fri, 7th Jun 2013 5:30 pm
But all the Ghana FA boss do was to sound upbeat and inspire his team about the critical nature of the games ahead.
I made these same comments here to Zambians that they need to win the last 3 matches if they want to qualify.
I wonder why they are insulting the guy and fellow Africans about their looks? What has that got to do with football?
You guys have no confidence in your own people so u have a white man mis-leading u and u are following him like u are still a colonized people.
Your FA people cant even give you hope so instead you are making up stories about a conspiracy between Ghana and Sudan.

@GH .You know for sure how poor your team is when theey play against a competitive side .Ghanians are not skillfull but jst powerful and thats what they use to win matches . Everything indicates that Sudan wanted Ghana to win both games against them after they lost an appeal. You are mentioning players who only matter to the clueless and talkative Ghanian suporters. When Ghana play Chipolopolo they are tactically poor and all aimless runs are neutralised by calculated Chipolopolo moves , i cant wait to see Chipolopolo in Kumasi. Why should Chipolopolo be scared when they have cultured beating Ghana, plus we have already got Ghanians forming groups to support Chipolopolo

Cool J,
Please note that, going by Akan custom, Gyan is not from BA. His mother is from Mamponteng in Ashanti Region and his father is from BA. Bono's are Akans and, by default, practise the matrilineal system of inheritance. Accordingly, Gyan is customarily an Asante.

Each of the matches remaining are very crucial. When we win in Lesotho, and assuming that Zambia will also beat Sudan at home, then the game against Zambia will determine which of the two qualifies.
Surely if the Black Stars maintain their focus without allowing any distractions, we should sail through.

i think the two strikers upfront is helping him. there was too much pressure on him as a lone striker...the foreign coaches did not have foresight to see it.

Good to hear Gyan has be awarded this accolade, although people are questioning the GFA about this record. Someone reckons Acquah scored 59 goals for the Black Stars but typically no records are kept.

wow, did he smashed abedi peles record? oh Ghana.by the way well done asamoah gyan.
Yes he smashed Abedi's record. The difference is Abedi was not a striker, he was a midfielder. Therefore the comparison is a bit off, it seems like comparing apple to bread.
