    I totally agree with the decision of the Ghana water comp. Citizens should learn to do the right thing. Those buildings have enchroahed and therefore the owners have to bear the consequences.

    The distance is 300 metres buffer zone along the lake and NOT 100 feet and people have built close to 100 metres from the lake. Still how can people put houses just 100 metres from the lake?

    Publish areas safe or unsafe for dwelling or occupying in the county. As in any situation of care and responsibility, a significant resource should be spent on prevention.

    Good decision.Don't pay them a penny. They know the risk before settling in the area. The company plans to spill excess water from the dam as been in the picture for very long time. Only fools would say they don'y know.

    I realise these people broke the rules but sometimes people go to extremes to survive, perhaps they could only afford to squat illegally. We need more affordable housing in this country
