Afari Gyan identifies the numbers as 22484, 22485, 22486. He makes his observation that there is nothing on that envelopes which makes it a property of the EC and if it is the property of the EC it remains a big question how the petitioners had access to it.

Judge asks if there are markings on the envelopes of the EC. But Afari Gyan says he cannot tell. He will cross check and get back to the court.

The suggestion that pink sheets could be manufactured and smuggled into collation centres by Addison shows his ignorance about our electoral procedures. Would this pink sheet smuggler be able to sign for all the polling agents? If s/he does so, would the party representatives at the collation centres not call their agents at the polling stations to confirm the results? Hmm! It is because of this mentality that the petitioners duplicated pink sheets to the court. Shame!

Evidence is what the case will turn on,regardless of what actually took place. In the Western world, it does not matter so much which party is in power; what matters most are the policies a party would adopt to develop the country: sanitation, demarcation of property, law and order, wealth distribution,education, and all the vital things such as good running water, reliable and affordable electricity, adequate housing, and transportation systems. Not to mention Govt accountability, regardless of time. All these issues remain in the background while people continue to argue about NPP/NDC and other parties. I believe we are missing the point here. I cannot believe a whole capital city like Accra,has not central sewage system, and our leaders go to bed and sleep soundly, get up and go to work with the slightest concern. It is all too amazing, to say the least!

It is a constitutional requirement that a polling station presiding officer signs to attest and certify the number of votes cast in the presence of party agents immediately after counting before submission. Absence of signatory invalidates the pink sheet or stated account.

Most party agents are handed the pink sheets to sign immediately when they arrive to indicate their witnessing presence. Addison contends that most of the violations and irregularities occured at polling stations which do not bear presiding officer's signature but with agents sihnatures.

Furthermore Addison made Afari Djan admit that constitutional requirement.

It is important for us to be candid about what transpires to learn and avoid repetition of mistakes instead of calling names and invoking tribal insinuations which will do us little credit as a nation.

Since EC do not record serial numbers against specific poling station but they are rather pick randomly. Once again the poling agents have copies which they forward to their agents at the collation center for confirmation.. Addison assertion is baseless. He should rather look for another possibilities.
The same serial numbers cannot affect the results which ever way you look at it because there are other things that make virtually impossible for it to be swapped.
The only way results can be swapped is at the polling station and you would have bribe all polling agents before you can do that and it does not matter the serial number on the pink sheet if you by bribing them. Lets call a spade a spade and stop deceiving ourselves.

Why did the court registrar not stamp the date of receipt of the pink sheets on them? Whenever you receive document at a company the date of receipt is usually stamped. Very shoddy court work like many things in Ghana

If every pink sheet must bear names and signatures of all party agents and presiding officer, then Addison should tell us is those pink sheets he believes have been smuggled in to cheat the NPP has party agents names and signatures and also those of the presiding officer at the respective pooling stations.
