A couple of years ago, when international institutions forecast that there would be hunger in some parts of Africa, those countries and in fact Africans generally, were busily praying to God for food come the time. Wisdom had eluded them and they even forgot that the Bible makes it clear to work for God "will bless the work of your hand". Probably because of the "I-KNOW-ALL PROPHETS" who claim to know everything, have all the answers; also suggesting that prayers alone do resolve everything, including planting crops in the farms for the believers. This was unlike the virgins who out of wisdom and foresight, took oil with them for their lamps because they knew that keeping the lamps on was no issue of miracle. The famine came, and the media all over the world showed hungry, malnourished people from those African countries, whose skeletons could be seen through their flesh begging for food. Eventually, as usual, the UN agencies went begging for aid to feed those Africans. Africa, once more was a laughing stock. It was not the first time this and similar incidents have happened. Unfortunately, Ghanaians and other Africans repeat the same error.
FIRE OUTBREAK GOD-DRIVEN? FUNNY INDEED!!
Is it not funny to attribute fire outbreak to some kind of divine-driven disaster? When similar incidents happen in other countries, they research and track the causes,educate the people on preventive matters.
And what again?
A vision from God that two leading figures from the two main political parties will...Is this a vision or an analysis based on the evolution of matters? Is the god of "the prophet" engaging in witch-hunt in Ghana because he has seen a soft spot in the country?

Ghanaians must be wary of so called prophets who take advantage of situations and God to seek fame and wealth! By their fruit you shall know them. Sure there are men of God but not the mushroom types.

Oh no, let's not put (all) the blame on the government.
Some of the fires are caused by the negligence of the people themselves. Let's look at the following scenario: someone negligently throws the burning butt of cigarette at a place that could possibly catch fire.
Do you expect the government and authorities to be there by the side of the people 24 hours to try to put off the fire? Of course one may blame the Fire Service if they are not rapid or are ineffective. We must educate citizens to know bad habits that could cause disaster so they desist from them.
