WHEN THE ABOADZE PLANT WAS ORDERED AND INSTALLED, OBVIOUSLY/PRESUMABLY THE SUPPLIER MUST HAVE GIVEN OPERATING MANUAL AND POSSIBLY AN ENGINEER WENT ON ATTACHMENT ON HOW TO INSTALL AND MAINTAIN THE EQUIPMENT PERIODICALLY. WERE THERE NO PERIODIC CHECKS ON OIL LEVELS, COOLING SYSTEMS,ETC AS RECOMMENDED IN THE OPERATING MANUAL? DID THE SITE ENGINEERS NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THE OPERATING HAND-BOOK AND BUCK-UP SPARES? MY GUESS IS THAT ONCE THE ENGINES STARTED WORKING AND THE POLITICIANS DELIVERED THEIR ADDRESS, EVERY BODY WENT TO SLEEP.

  our technician and engineers are just useless, so they can't fix that and had to bring in a turbine engineer! what have they been learning in school.

  and you claim hydro power is running low?????? maybe in dry season or drought..But i just read story days ago about resident being told to move away from the spill ways at Weji dam??

  My ghs30,000 car will give plenty of warning if there was a fault, sometimes and depending on seriousness of fault, will automatically shut down the engine to prevent serious damage to the vehicle! Is VRA telling us that for a multi-million plant like this there are no fail safe measures built into the system to prevent such occurrences? And to add salt to injury, they are now waiting for equipment manufacturer to turn up! This plant, if indeed was inaugurated only 2 months ago, should be manned 24hr by these experts until our engineers are ready to take over - did this happen?
  
  Is anyone in charge of this country! Mahama, get your ass in there and kick some butts out of the place or maybe it is you that needs kicking out. Can't we do anything well in this country? People are getting away for far too long with mediocre service to the public and it's time to say enough is enough!
