We appoint totally useless and daft people as Ministers of state and all they can do is to fuel the cycle of shameless begging.
Can they not see that after all these years of begging and crawling after our oppressors to come and fix things for us, nothing has come out of it? Dont they see that we are rather sliding full-speed backwards? Upon what criteria were these people nominated and eventually appointed as Ministers of state? It is now so embarrassing that it is not funny anymore.
And look at the uncouth manner in which she spoke to the Chinese Ambassador. her remarks sounded like the opinion of a truck pusher at Abgogbloshie market or the lunatic fringe on Ghanaweb. It would be good, if she could similarly direct those undiplomatic remarks attributed to her in the last sentence, to the hundreds of thousands of Ghanaian immigrant workers around the world for whom even an expired visa means nothing at all.
When these idle housewives are appointed to these jobs which are clearly bigger than them, are they not exposed to any kind brushing up to avoid unnecessary embarrassment to the state?

Kofi Lamptey, I sympathize with you but the truth is that the under-trodden people of this country have been so morally, psychologically and spiritually deprived by both our dear old colonial oppressors and their associate local politicians that, any thing that will bring in an additional 2 Cedis for the whole year is good enough to support. Otherwise how can so-called prominent religious leaders, Chiefs and politicians crawl after and arse-lick despicable and repugnant characters like Woyome and Agambire of Rlg whose levels of corruption is unprecedented in the annals of the history of Ghana?
It seems that the old capitalist strategy to keep the people poor and ignorant so that they will continue to worship and praise you is working well for them.
