Most Ghanians have this in abundance, but it is only the SC which has the vested authority to make the decision. Kwesi Pratt is the most dangerous Journalist Ghana had ever have, he had the gut to recommend his fellow journalists to be executed by PNDC. Pratt even recommended Baako to be killed by the regime, thank God Baako was instead touchered violently and severely but his life was spared. This is what Kwesi Pratt can do. Now Pratt is a secret agent to NDC and US Embassy in Ghana. May God forgive Pratt and spare him the untold evils that will come upon him and his generations. We all know that they killed high court judges in the past and that is why these judges need to master courage and bravery, for this foolish Mahama has threatened that the judges MUST rule in his favor because he won the election freely and fairly even after Afari Gyan has admitted that he came to the throne by mistakes and error. The fact is your petition is full of errors and you keep on changing and discarding whilst bawumia was in the witness box. Is it not technicalities you want to rely on to annul such votes. I thought you were going to prove votes padding and deductions. If no signing of pink sheet at the polling station which your agents have identify as the right results your candidate had should annul because your candidate lost then why shouldn't people dwell on the same technicalities to throw your case apart from the lack of substance in your case; what is good for the goose is good for the gander remember!

I have been on several important assignments and have therefore missed some of what is going on in Ghana politics recently. But it never ceases to amaze me when I read some of the postings purported to have come from this group "let my vote count". Elsewhere in this world, when people advocate for "let my vote count", what they actually mean is that ALL votes cast must be included, and NOT some votes EXCLUDED. This group in Ghana seems to be the complete opposite and cannot even appreciate hat their brand of 'seeking "justice" and democracy" is contrary to what their name represents in fact!

They are also fond of making 'veiled threats' and using innuendo to 'threaten unrest' if things don't go their way. they also hide behind religion and "praying for the justices" in pursuance of their 'cause' whilst issuing 'threats' to the very justices they claim to be praying for. So my simple question is; what exactly do the "let my vote count" crowd want? True justice? fairness? respect for rule of law? exercise of universal franchise and all Ghanaian voters being treated equally? OR do they simply want the supreme justices to RULE in favour of their petition?

It is a such a pity that they always betray themselves by suggesting that there is "overwhelming evidence" to support their case, and then try to suggest that the respondents "are manipulating" or using "new strategies" to "deflect form the evidence". If the latter were to be so, don't you think the judges are smart enough and "bold" enough and "honest" enough and "empowered" enough by the very powers vested in them under the constitution to both identify these "ricks" or strategies" and to deliver true and honest and yes, "bold" justice?

Why do Ghanaians always want to dictate to others this way? We are our own worst critics and many a Ghanaian who cannot even kick a ball and indeed "water yams" who are simply over-fed arm chair coaches, players and commentators are often heard lambasting the Black Stars when they play football. It seems to me the "LMVC" crowd are doing exactly the same here.

To add to this silly nonsense, they further betray themselves and their bigotry when they say, “Ghanaians should not think we are immune to this kind of thing. The ethnic configurations of Kenyan politics are, in shape and form, equally alive in Ghana, which like Kenya, took the multi-party route in 1992,”

What is this supposed to mean? and what are they insinuating here? Why compare the "ethnic divide" of Kenya with Ghana?. Who are they sending this message to? I have previously argued on this forum about how Ghana has nothing to learn from Kenya and how very misleading it is for anyone to suggest otherwise. It is interesting to note that despite the many "ethnic groups and tribes in Kenya which, yes, may be disparate and suspicious of each other, Kenya has a great missed opportunity in sharing a COMMON NATIONAL LANGUAGE - Kiswahili (incidentally spoken by other neighbouring counties such as Tanzania) but whereas this language UNITES the people of Tanzania (thanks to the patriotic and clear leadership of president Julius Nyerere and subsequent leaders), Kenyans on the other hand remain deeply divided despite this common language!!! How can you compare Kenya with Ghana?

Interestingly, in Ghana, despite our tribal diversity" there is unity in our diversity, thanks once again to the efforts of our early leaders, and the work of Dr Kwame Nkrumah including our boarding school system which helped us to get to know each other better and engender TRUST, LIFELONG FRIENDSHIPS and break down STEREOTYPES, SUSPICIONS AND CULTURAL TABOOS among our tribes e.g. a Ga marrying a Fante etc.

Furthermore, without coercion or pressure of any kind, Ghanaians have learned EACH OTHER'S dialects or languages and it is amazing to see people of all tribes speak other people's languages in regions or districts where they live and work. This is one of the unique features of Ghana and Ghanians and you simply do not see this in Kenya!!! Why cannot these STUPID, IGNORANT, BIGOTED AND FOOLISH ETHNOCENTRIC "let my vote count" crowd get this simple truth into their little 'coconuts' they call their heads and brains!!!

How do you expect all tribes to feel comfortable being in your party and supporting your side when you show clear tribal bias in your arguments and approach to doing things? Are they trying to suggest that somehow the ethnic differences of the people on the supreme court panel would influence the decisions they take in this important matter?

Why does every party bother to ensure that of their flagbearers, one usually hails from the "South" and the other from the "north"? Is it not because they recognise the TRUTH that to APPEAL to a broad constituency of voters up and down the country, you need to have a "balanced ticket? That is not primarily because of tribal politics, but more based on pragmatism of "REGIONAL BALANCE" IN LEADERSHIP REQUIRED TO GARNER NECESSARY SUPPORT to win national elections.

What the "LMVC" crowd fails to appreciate is that apart from the fact that in every region there are many tribes, and Ghanaians from different regions also live and work across regions and vote based on their particular party preferences, it is they the "LMVC" crowd and their ilk who continue to make "tribal politics" the thing that it is . They completely fail to understand that the only way we can build a strong, lasting and good democracy is to do away with their way of seeing and doing things.

A non-tribalist like myself and many millions in our beloved country simply cannot wait to see the back of this "LMVC" crowd who are nothing but a divisive and bigoted lot. For the first time, I rather feel sorry for the likes of Dr Bawumiah whom I have been on record for criticizing and lambasting, for his poor showing in this petition on behalf of the party he loves and is so proud to be a part, yet whilst he has been busy 'FIGHTING' their cause in the courts to make Nana Addo 'reconsidered' for NATIONAL president, this lot who claim to be on HE Bawumiah's side don't much care about him and in fact see him as a 'second'class' citizen merely there to do their bidding (as is expected of the northerner)!!! It is insulting, disrespectful and frankly stupid and they cannot even see that their very utterances and actions reflect that sense!!!

I just hope they will melt away and leave Ghanaians in peace for they are neither democratic nor patriotic, and are certainly not seeking "TRUTH, JUSTICE OR FAIRNESS" in this process.

If indeed he and his team are looking for the truth they could compel the EC to produce the original documents in contention to court so that they match those with what the petitioners have filed with the court so that if there is no merit they dismiss the case. Why I am saying this? as a lay man common sense will agree with mine submission. When Tsatsu Tsikata and other respondents were doing their cross examination the bench were lenient with them and even with his request for the count of the pink sheets was hurriedly granted and look at how the bench is trying to frustrate the petitioners council to the extent that Justice Atuguba in open court could say that the unwillingness of Tsikata & co to make known the pink sheets they are missing is their strategy. If the court fails to unravel the truth, the truth will surely and eventually emerged no matter the suppression.
