I have been here in China for a decade now and i wrote many reports to ministry of foreign affairs and castle in ghana but they never took any serious. They plunder your natural resources, ie illegal mining, logging, money laundering, set up network Servers to hack into US/EU/AU industry and Govt. agencies, the cavaiat being the building of roads/bridges, max. 2yr life cycle, don't obey H&S laws, thinks the Black man is primitive.
What do most African leaders do?, wine & dine this undemocratic state and it's nationals.
Solution? Look to the US for support, advise, and education. When you lie in bed with the Devil, you pay the price. At least the Yanks will chop a little, they are broke, but you get good support and post implementation guidance.
A Ghanaian can not go to China without being followed 24/7, limited stay/access to their services, watched till you depart.
