When Kwaku Baako informed us about the atrocities of Kwesi Pratt during PNDC Regime, some of us did not believe until the truth was confirmed during the NRC. Kwesi Pratt is the most dangerous Journalist Ghana had ever have, he had the gut to recommend his fellow journalists to be executed by PNDC. Pratt even recommended Baako to be killed by the regime, thank God Baako was instead touchered violently and severely but his life was spared. This is what Kwesi Pratt can do. Now Pratt is a secret agent to NDC and US Embassy in Ghana. May God forgive Pratt and spare him the untold evils that will come upon him and his generations. The souls of those journalist killed through Pratt's recommendations to PNDC will never forgive Pratt. Ghanaians should not forget that it is same 'prediction failure' that sent NPP to the Supreme Court. Before the 2012 elections were over, NPP predicted winning for NPP, giving per centum. When their prediction failed, the next thing is where we are today.

No true African, coming from a good home, will use the left hand to point to his/her honorable home. Do they expect Mahama to tell NDC supporters that NPP will win the case? Even Nana and Obetsebi, who were saved from cross-examinations by Tsatsu, predicted winning the case.

My prediction is 'a draw case'. My reason - every style and cheating that the NDC is being accused of, have equally happened in favor of NPP. So, if both NDC and NPP cheated, and NDC emerged a winner with a higher number, why worry.

The best ruling will to cancel the 2012 elections and let Ghana have new elections. My reason - NDC and NPP cheated massively or none cheated. As for Mahama, he cannot be pushed aside for Nana; no it will not happen.

As I indicated elsewhere, there is nothing to what the President said regarding how it affects the ruling of the Supreme Court on the impending Election case.

Nana Akufo-Addo had also earlier on made such predictions in the favor of his group and Party. There is nothing wrong with that either. Everyone with a stake in the case could claim to be hopeful of winning.

The over-extended complaints about the President's comments as being intimidating to the Supreme Court seem to be only efforts to preempt any likely negative outcome for the Petitioners to claim some unfair ruling against them.

If that is not the case, it could only simply be paranoid restlessness on the part of those who are complaining. Knowing how many Ghanaians argue issues out, if the President were to remain absolutely mute and not to insist on the expected vindication of his side, the same folks complaining might say his silence emanates from his tacit confession or admission of guilt.

Many of us would say, the President did not say anything to defend himself because he knew he had nothing to defend and everything guilty to be silent about.

I would suggest that such flimsy complaints by the NPP activists be stopped, or most folks would see the Party as adamantly pursuing its controversial "All die be die" agendum which some interpret to mean winning the Elections at all cost.

A Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of African Studies, Dr. Michael Kpessah-Whyte has challenged former Attorney General Martin Amidu to substantiate his allegations against the Mahama-led government if he wants to be takenserious. Michael Kpessah-Whyte saidhe expected Amidu as a seasoned lawyer to provide cogent evidence to prove that President Mahama wasnot as incorruptible as he seemsto suggest. Dr. Kpessah-Whyte who spoke on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Monday was reacting to the former AG’s latest statement on some events in the ruling NDC. Former Attorney General and Minister for Justice, Martin A.B.K Amidu Monday released his latest epistle challenging the effectivenessof President John Mahama’s approach to fighting corruption. ButDr. Kpessah-Whyte maintains that unless Martin Amidu provides incriminating evidence against government, he won’t be taken seriously. “If he [Amidu] wants to betaken very seriously as somebody who claims to have had an insight ingovernment and also a founding member of NDC, then he needs to cite specific instances in which the individual around which his letter revolve was involved in any wrong-doing” he added. According to Dr. Kpessah-Whyte, Amidu’s statement “was couched in a language that seem to suggest that he was going to provide us with some evidence to prove that the President is not asincorruptible as he seem to suggest but reading the whole document tothe end; it appeared that it was all basically based on the figment of his[Amidu] imagination”. The political analyst underscored the need for the former AG to focus on specific issues and take out the personalities to correct the erroneous impression that he [Amidu] is using the periodic statements to settle some political scores. He indicated that since the former Attorney General has chosento dwell on issues in the court of public opinion, it will be appropriate for him[Amidu] to provide evidence for the public to make their judgement. Dr. Kpessah-Whyte said the desire to root out corruption in the country must go beyond individual conduct and rather institute measures that will reduce the temptation in the government institutions.
