Does Obetsebi “Alontey“ Lamptey in his true mind believe that their (NPP,S) petition which is currently in an open court before the nine (9) Justices of the Supreme Court is the same as the secret one that he conived with to steal an official state bungalow for? By the way, how many votes does the NPP stand to lose in their strongholds if what they are calling is applied to them as well. No chance! And this is where common sense is lacking in everything they do and say. Which Supreme Court Judge out of his mind will anul over 4m valid votes cast which is almost half of the total valid votes cast in election 2012 which was no fault of theirs? Does Akufo Addo & Co in their right sense of mind think after annulling such votes, they can rule Ghana in peace especially with a weak minority in Parliament? And you expect over 4.6m anulled innocent voters to sit down and clap? What a big and dangerous task to ask of the Supreme Court. NPP, no one, none a bit is scared of your intimifation, scare tactics, bullying and don,t for a moment think people will not re act if you set off on your dangerous adventure. A word to the wise!

Atuguba's pink sheets are far less than the number claimed by the petitioners and that should point to the fraud.

NPP is exposing their stupidity to the entire world.Stupidity No 1.The total number of polling stations on which the election was declared was 26,002.The NPP said they investigated only 24,000 polling stations.Do they want the entire results to be nullified with only 24,000 polling stations? Stupidity No.2. They only allegedly filed 11,842 polling station pink sheets instead of the entire 24,000 supposedly checked pink sheets,why?stupidity No 3. NPP conducted the audit themselves, and want us to believe that they saw nothing in the 12,148(24,000 - 11,842) polling stations which were not filed at the Supreme Court.Their work is only SELF SERVING.It is not coming from an INDEPENDENT THIRD PARTY. Stupidity No.4.The NPP assume a straight line relationship between the number of votes cast at each polling station, i.e. if the 11,842 polling stations presented have say, 4.5 million votes then 26,002 polling stations would be (26,002/11,842)*4.5 = 9.9 million. This is a joke!. The relationship could be exponential.You cannot compare a polling station number of votes at say Manhyia in the Ashanti Regions with that at say an Upper East Region Polling station.The 2,002 poling stations (26,002-24,000)that they could not audit(according to them) could all relate to polling stations in the strongholds of the NPP say Ashanti Region and Eastern Region and there could also be what the NPP call Malpractices,Constitutional breaches etc. etc. that they claim they occurred at those polling stations as well. Stupidity No 4 and Finally,a Pink Sheet is of 2 clear parts: the accounting section on top and the Declaration of Results Section at the bottom part.They are not contesting the Declaration of Votes section where the number of votes is recorded in favour of the Presidential Candidates ,and signed by all party representatives, presumably they accept that the figures are correct.What they are saying is that there are some infractions in the recording of the entries in the accounting section,say entries show over-voting, no entry means zero(according to Dr. Pink Sheet),some pink sheets have 'same serial numbers' and so on and so forth.In view of clear errors made by the Presiding Officer,these should invalidate all the votes cast at the polling stations.They call it 'ON THE FACE OF THE PINK SHEET'.The NPP probably is not aware of Article 42 of the 1992 Constitution.In fact what they should be saying is:ON THE FACE OF THE POLLING STATION VOTES'. The NPP's case is FRIVOLOUS, UN-MERITORIOUS, VEXATIOUS, and a complete waste of time and should be thrown out.I await the addresses of Mr. Tsatsu Tsikata, Mr. Tony Lithur and Mr. Quarshie Idun.That day would be an interesting day at the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court is not mandated to calculate how many votes the petitioner needs to be declared President. The case is whether the so called irregularities in their entirety are so substantial infractions of the electoral laws and of a fraudulent nature to over ride the constitutional rights of the voters affected.

Even if we accept the argument that the voters register was bloated with ghost names and multiple registrations, the issue is whether people were allowed to cast multiple votes of impersonate other votes. By all indications, the biometric registration deterred people from registering several times which is far better than what we had before. It was by no means a perfect election. But the allegations have become difficult to sustain. And now we are wandering off and looking at charges that include causing financial loss to the state!

The lead advocate has made a pig's dinner of what has become a futile petition. Now Jake is playing the numbers game to suggest there might be something in it for the petitioners.

Figures keep changing every now and then.The respondents are arguing that they were not presented with all the P-sheets that are in dispute.Some aspects of the cross examination are based on P-Sheets. How can you cross examine a witness when is legal counsel is not privy to those P-Sheets. If we have a bloated number, the question then arises as to how the extra P-Sheets got in. The registrar and the petitioners will have to give answers. Already we have been told that even stealing can be justified in this case, remember the official envelopes from the EC.
