The fire service should go to the market and educate the traders on causes of fire and preventive measures. Illegal connection's and sheer carelessness, the dumsor too is not helping matters. Although having uniformed policemen to patrol the market is a good idea, what will their use be if we don't stop illegal connections, use of faulty equipments, overloading of extension sockets which are all fire hazards. Oh how silly we all would look if these American experts conclude the erratic power supply and our own carelessness is to blame for these fires.

When a whole President engages in such cheap, needless and stupid propaganda, the nation suffers. Its very disappointing and shameful to Ghana educators and Ghanaians in general that a soo call minister did not understand the difference between arson and fire accident.Murtala should go back to school for he is disgracing Ghanaians.A person sleeping in candle light and by an accident the candle manage to burn the house is not an arson but by accident.Arson is a deliberate set fire on the house to burn to cover crime or revenge.NDC better Ghana Agenda is when people are living in wooden structures without toilets,water and electricity.This is the right direction Mahama is talking about includeing solving acute water problem with bore holes.Is this the result from US fire expects?Then this is a waste of tax payers money to bring this folks to investigate fire breakouts.

For sustainable socio-economic development Ghana needs ACCOUNTABLE GOVERNANCE not mere promises without action as characterised BY MAHAMA'S "leadership".
