That is why we lack behind in moving forward. You are talking about moving the country forward. Should that be done with rigging elections? I am not putting my feet down that NDC rigged the elections, only the SC will decide but if really they rigged the elections why do you want the other party to let it go? Then we should scrap that part of the constitution of challenging elections out from the Laws of Ghana, because it makes no sense. This is the attitude of many Ghanians. Fama Nyame Tradition and the country is always sinking because people end up leading the country not by merit but by dubious means and we sit and say we should forget about the pink sheets. What was used to declare the winner? Whether NPP or NDC, no one has the right to rig an election. We should allow the voice of the people to be heard. Anything one does, remember the repercussion awaits him or her. We shall all pay the price if such is not corrected.

So where from the rigging theory? There were errors, yes, just as Bawumia´s documents show and the petitioners´ evident has shown so far.

There has not been a prove of padding of votes for any of the candidates according to what I have heard. If the SC says number of records of votes by candidates should be considered, Nana will still be behind Mahama. On the bases of the short falls in Pinksheets filed as claimned, this case can be thrown out! Peace!

Have the Supreme Court Judges also Joined President Mahama in London?

Rumours are rife on the London-based Ghanaian (radio) airwaves that some of the judges sitting on Election 2012 case pending in the Supreme Court have come to London. Some opine that the judges have come here to arrange for some money, bribery money of course, to be transferred into their bank accounts by possibly, the "Edey bii keke" President.

I do not believe these rumours about the judges or some of them come over to Britain on dubious mission. However, there is the slightest truth in every rumour. Be that as it may, who among the nine judges have come to London and for what reason?

If they have come at all, it may be to consult with their brainy White contemporaries for professional advice on how best to extricate themselves from the looming quagmire. They have only to tell the truth and ensure nothing, but absolute justice prevails. There would not be the need for coming over to London for whatsoever reason if they were going to be honest with themselves and with the Ghanaian public by basing their verdict on nothing but the credible proofs and witness statements placed before them.

Should they choose to be economical with the truth, be influenced by dubious persons promising them money and favours, then they will eventually have themselves to blame should things go sour. Their reputation is on the line so they had better take notice.

Would a Good Samaritan please check the airlines' manifest at Kotoka Airport to confirm if indeed some of the judges have travelled outside Ghana since the close of their last sitting on Thursday, 14 June 2013?

Anyway, I will not dwell on this story of which I have no proof even though some radio phone-in callers are uttering with vociferation how credible their assertion is.

I assure all and sundry that as long as the whole world is watching the court proceedings live on television and on the internet, there is nothing dubious the judges can do but to let justice prevail according as ascertained by the evidential documents in front of them. It could have been a different story if there was no live telecast of the court sittings.

The judges, whoever they are, are welcome to London. However, they are expected to be law-abiding visitors without engaging in any fraudulent activities as alleged on air. I personally believe they are not in London but in Ghana. Anyway, I have by this write-up attempted to assuage the fears of those that think the judges are in London and are on a questionable mission.

I dedicate this article to Kofi Basoah and his younger brother Kwaku Burger of Asante-Juaben.

You remember the cocoa price index in 1954,the Railway workers strike of 1956 and how the Danquah-Busia clitch tried to use them to unseat Nkrumah?

This time round, it pink sheets, without regard to the fact that what ever errprs/irregularities were on them. The results at the polling and colation centres were declared without protest at the polling/ collation centres from any party.

The fundamental question of universal franchise and the validity of the vote of the 1.3 million (or 4 million, whichever figure you choose to use) has not even been touched upon yet. The crucial constitutional questions about whether the votes of so many people can be annulled has yet to be addressed by the court.

Furthermore, this moron of a spokesperson does not even realise that the worst case scenario (and that in my view is very unlikely) would be to re-run the ballot as the supreme court has no right or authority to declare one person or other "winner" of the polls but can only rule on the authenticity of the poll.

It is also worth noting without ambiguity that neither the NDC nor the president has so far been (even remotely) shown to have colluded with anyone least of all the electoral commission (and its commissioner) to defraud in the polls. That being the case, where did this moron get the idea that just simply 'on the surface of the so-called pink-sheet "evidence" which to date is non-existent, the petitioners would not only win the case but "Nana Addo will be made the next president of Ghana".

Wishful; thinking is one thing but crass stupidity is another and this guy seems to be demonstrating the latter.

I THINK THE SPOKESPERSONS OF THE NPP ARE THREADING ON DANGEROUS PATHS. BY NOW THEY SHOULD START PREPARING SPEECHES THAT WOULD ACKNOWLEDGE THEIR DEFEAT. AND FIND SOME EXPLANATION FOR THEIR FOLLOWERS. UNFORTUNATELY THEY ARE STILL GIVING FALSE HOPES TO THEIR SUPPORTERS. WHEN THIS BACKFIRES ALL THE NPP CURRENT LEADERS WILL BE FORCED TO GO ON EARLY RETIREMENT.

Hopeson of a bitch hopeful that the Presidential candidate of the NPP, Nana Akufo-Addo, will emerge the next President of Ghana. What is even more compelling and troubling, and which should be the greatest source of worry to Ghanaians as far as the outcome of the 2012 election results are concerned is the kuluulu scheme employed by the NPP during the 2004 general elections when the NPP at their "Kuluulu" best, (to use Akufo-Addo's own words) criminally declared themselves winners long before the polls were tabulated and officially announced by the National Electoral Commission (NEC) which is the sole institution that is constitutionally mandated to conduct elections and declare results under our democratic dispensation. If the NDC leadership at the time had not exercised political maturity and foresight, the repercussions for that irresponsible act by the NPP would have been disastrous for the entire country. When is the Danquah-Busia-Dombo tradition (NPP) going to stop their parasitic, selfish and self-centered behavior? Hopeson of a bitch should keep on hoping and dreaming Amenooo!!!

Why these people are like that,are they only them who Ghana belong to them.History tell us that, all the problem we are going through started by Asante Akyem people.Nkrumah was building University Asante Akyem people said is not good, Nkrumah was building Motor way Asante Akyem people said is not good, building Tema township Asante Akyem said is not good, building Advance Teacher, training college Asante Akyem said is not good, building Ghana international airport(Kotoka) Asante Akyem people said is not good,Tema harbor Asante Akyem said is not good, building Tema oil refinery Asante Akyem people said is not good, and above all is the akosombo dam these devils went America, London to mention but few and demonstrate against Kwame Nkrumah and eventually they sold kwame Nkrumah to CIA and 1966 they over threw NKRUMAH. Then Busia became the president,the only thing Busia did is to devalued Ghana cedis so that, he can pay his master.Busia put Ghana in economic problem for almost ten years.These Asante Akyem devils hav't accept any election in Ghana expect 2000.In 1951 these devils did not accept the election outcome even though it was white people who conduct that election.In 1960 these people did not accept the election out comes. In 1992 the same devil people did not accept the election results. Now the same devils are burning all the market in Ghana because Akofo Addo did not become president, these people do not care if the market belong to their own member what kind of devil behave these people are.In 2000 the same people imported dead bodies from Togo into Ghana in order to win election. So what these Asante Akyem devil people are doing do they think it will help them? Some of us are trying to become lectures do their children will be save in the politics they planting now?
