What is this paper saying? It is you who are twisting events. We have all been witnessing what is going on in court. It is rather the respondents who are distorting the truth to the outside world.
We all followed Bawumiah as he confirmed the charges he and his two other petitioners had brought to court. Throughout his evidence and follow-on cross-examinations, Bawumiah maintained his convictions that there were several irregularities in the 2012 elections. And that is how it stands until now.
We have all heard Asiedu Nketiah and Dr Afai Gyan give their evidence. After the petitioners had laid their charges, the onus fell on the respondents to disprove them, but neither of them has managed to get anywhere near doing that. In fact, Asiedu Nketiah and Afari Gyan have both testified to fortify the case for the petitioners. They both tried from the on-set to deceive the court; but being kids with flexible ribs, both succumbed to minimal pressure and tension in the court room. They both admitted to over-voting in the long run, even though Asiedu Nketiah had decided to avoid the almighty word and called it ‘Alien material' while Afari Gyan called it excess votes in the beginning. The petitioners claimed duplicated serial numbers were used to aid the irregularities. Afari Gyan tried to dodge the issue by saying at the beginning that there were no serial numbers of note on the pink sheets, but he also succumbed later to admit that there were serial numbers that could be used to track the anomalies.
There is more to come. But even from the little that we have all witnessed in court and on the media, you cannot be in your right frame of mind if you turn round to claim that the petitioners have not managed to uphold their case. They comfortably have done just that. Your article is clearly about what the petitioners have failed to achieve, but you twisted it around to look the other way! You will always be known by your deeds. The case continues.
And let me tell you that majority of Ghanaians know the direction this case is going. Even the devil incarnate Atuguba cannot turn it round. In your twisted mind, you want to claim the bench is being fair! The whole world is laughing at Ghana's judicial system, with people like Atuguba at the helm. Imagine such a person as he sitting in on a death sentence case! He would behave like the judge in a murder case who sent the jury out again and again because they always came back with a verdict of Not Guilty. After the fourth time, the jurors decided to return a Guilty verdict to see what the judge would say. On hearing the jury pronounce "Guilty", the judge exclaimed: "That is better. I ordered the convict to be hanged earlier this morning!"

The highest court of the land is becoming too cheap and cannot be considered as the bastion of the people. What is baffling me is the inability of the SC to compel the EC to submit the pink sheets in contention to the court and that will speed up the discovery of the truth but it looks like Atuguba has some mischief against the petitioners. Hurriedly granted the ex-convict Tsatsu Tsikata request for the count of the pink sheets knowing very well that it is time buying and unnecessary . One wonders why the bench allows itself to be dictated to by Tsikata. The truth will surely emerged.

I watched this telecast from USA it really exposed Afari Gyan and Tsatsu Tsikata. There were statutory violations on the part of Afari Gyan. He really gave NPP what they needed for victory. Gracias!!

I am a cocerned Ghanaian. Iwas born and bread in Ghana.I have a space to point a finger at and said," this is the land of my ancesstors. I have learnt the history of Ghana at home and at School by the " Naasaaraa"(our venacular language in Wali in the Ghana Savanna Belt, which meant the white man's political history of WALATA -Ghana Empire. I want to ask, how many scholars are from our various regions with regards to degees that are serving mother Ghana and why.This is where tribalism emerged to the ruling of Ghana's administration which Ghana's founder opposed. That's our trouble.
