Sekou, have you ever heard of the wise saying that "Charity Begins at Home"? It is sad that our first President's son has become a "leper" who has been rejected by his own sibblings and a host of his friends.

Sekou says President Rawlings should concentrate on international politics. It is felt that Sekou does not understand what is at stake. If he concentrates on foreign issues and neglects his own country's issues, who will talk on those for him.

President Rawlings has said that he willnever leave Ghana and will remain to comment as he sees fit. As the saying goes, Charity must certainly begin at home.

Every statement Sekou makes, sends Kwame Nkrumah weeping in his grave. What a contrast Nkrumah, the brilliant architect of Ghana's independence and O.A.U, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and his son Sekou Nkrumah demonstrate on the political arena. It makes one wonder if indeed Sekou is the son of Nkrumah.

Why would Sekou tell the former president to "quit poking their noses in local politics"?

Anyway, well done for speaking your mind Dr S. Nkrumah on the actions and reactions of the ex presidents concerning their political utterances at home.

Naturally with democracy there is no way that one will prevent them from speaking their minds, but for the sake of national unity and progress they ought to be advised as to what they say publicly.

I am aware many will be upset to hear of statement of this nature coming from Sekou, but I think there is substance in it, considering those utterances of Rawlings in reference to Kufour and Atta Mills of reversing many achievements chalked during his era.

In reality many things like judgement debt also took place in Rawlings' era yet he critised others like he is the best of all. Finally it good to hear Atta Mills was regarded as the God father of the NDC. I may even extend it national level without one being sentimental.

All these attributes came due to Atta Mills' good ways of handling certain matters as a person although no human being is hundred percent perfect.

It is sad that many can not see that utterances from our ex presidents, sitting president and people in higher positions in the land should be well directed and executed with the mind that such words will aim at national development than causing tension amomg the whole populace.
