I pledge to to come up with a more favorable article on the subject of akpeteshie in a couple of days. And just in case anybody wants to know, NO! I dont drink the stuff myself but I believe that a well-managed and marketed akpeteshie can reap millions of dollars for mother Ghana.

The drink will have an enormous potential within the West African and East African Markets if it is improved and most of its negative health impact addressed.
What is lacking in Africa is the absence of the CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT CULTURE IN WHATEVER WE DO.
