Do not blame the man, he has been away from parliament for a very long time since Rawlings left power. So, if today he has been 're-elected' and his daughter is a Minister of Tourism, what do you want him to say so that, he can catch the eye of the President? He wants to be Minister again. He's been hungry for a very long time so by courtesy of Ameyaw Akumfi and Yaw Donyina or whoever, he is back, he must spew a lot of jazz to announce his presence and be recognized since that is the stock in trade of Narcotic Distributors Consultancy (NDC).

The Majority Chief Whip who is also the NDC MP for Asawase, Mubarak Muntaka has expressed worry at our legal system and noted that once a girl gets pregnant at for instance age 14, she should be allowed to marry at that age instead of saying that she must attain the age of 18 before she can enter a matrimonial home.

He and other members of parliament were making a contribution on teenage pregnancy in parliament yesterday. They were expressing worry at the manner in which teenagers who get themselves pregnant are given an automatic “red card” by society.

According to the MPs once a teenager gets pregnant she should be supported and encouraged rather than vilified and scorned since this destroys the potential of such teenagers. Some MPS noted that when a teenage boy or man impregnates a teenage girl, they should be supported to assume full responsibility for the pregnancy to serve as an emotional booster for such girls.

Electorates should be mindful about people who they choose as their representatives. What is this thing - Adjei-Mensah talking about? It is wrong for Akuffo Addo to go for his medical check - up because he said "all die be die"? The country is at lost for electing such buffoons to represent them and wasting tax payers money.

A Ghanaian man named Turkson went to his doctor after a long illness.

The doctor, after a lengthy examination, sighed and looked Turkson in the eye, and said, "I've some bad news for you.
You have cancer, and it can't be cured. I'd give you two weeks to a month to live."

Turkson was shocked and saddened by the news, but of solid character. He managed to compose himself and walk from the doctor's office into the waiting room. There, he saw his son who had been waiting. Turkson said, "Well son, we Ghanaian's
celebrate when things are good, and we celebrate when things don't go so well. In this case, things aren't so well. I have cancer, and I've been given a short time to live. Let's head for the Republic and have a few pints of Akperteshie"

After three or four pints, the two were feeling a little less somber. There were some laughs and more Akperteshie. They were eventually approached by some of Turkson old friends who asked what the two were celebrating. Turkson told them that the Ghanaian's celebrate the good and the bad. He went on to tell them that they were drinking to his impending end. He told
his friends, "I've only got a few weeks to live as I have been diagnosed with AIDS."

The friends gave Turkson their condolences, and they had a couple more Akperteshie.

After his friends left, Turkson son leaned over and whispered his confusion. "Dad. I though you said that you were dying from cancer??? You just told your friends that you were dying from AIDS!"

Turkson said, "I am dying of cancer, son. I just don't want any of them sleeping with your mother after I'm gone."
