Lets do some calculations.
Petitioners claim they supplied 11,890. Respondents say they got 10,000. Now, respondents claim petitioners added 7 more boxes to the 24. After counting, pink sheets were 13,000.

10,000/24 = 416 per box. Adding an extra 7 boxes gives u a total of 13,000. We are now hearing 13,000 were counted by KPMG. I smell NPP is in trouble after Atuguba's sheet was used as a control.

KPMG were instructed by the SC to count and audit the pink sheets independently in the presence of 2 reps each of the NPP and NDC. They would present a report to the SC, which would meet the parties to disclose the results of the count and audit.

Why are NPP asking to meet KPMG? When the respondents raised concerns in court over the additional boxes of pink sheets, they were asked to direct their concerns to KPMG which would include it in their report. The presiding judge then instructed KPMG to count his pink sheets as a control.

If the plaintiffs have any issue with the count and audit these should be raised in court. In any case, how do they know that the final report is saddled with errors? Or are KPMG just playing back the errors made by the plaintiffs in the pink sheets?

What do you know about professional behaviour? It is not for the petitioners to dictate how KPMG's work should be done. If the petitioners care that much about the concerns they are raising they should have made the time to get them through to KPMG. Bear in mind here that KPMG is just being nice by asking for comments from the parties in this case. All KPMG needed to have done was to just do the count and allow the representatives to witness. Beyond that the parties are supposed to go and argue their case out and give their explanations in court.

same categories, but different exhibit numbers. A substantial number of such errors was the
result of the shift from manual labelling of pink sheets, which proved quite laborious and
pregnant with error, to electronically-generated labelling, in order to meet the Court’s five-day
deadline. Again, the report identifies pink sheets of different polling stations but with same
category and same exhibit numbers. This was largely, though not wholly, due to human errors
in manual categorisation and labelling." Quote from Akoto Ampaw.

So human error is a reallity that applies to NPP mathematical and intellectual gurus and not apply to temporary staff of the EC. What a double standard and shifting of poles.
