Why not put this penitentiary at Bekwai junction? To them as usual the prosperity of one shall always be built on the adversity of many. Who in his sane mind will advocate this in a public institution of higher learning? "the Special Ward would not be attending to everyone, but only those who can pay for the service." Those rats even have intentions to segregation and class distinction.

Ghanafuor sometimes could be funny. It reminds of those concert bands that started adding "INT" band to their names just because they have gone to Togo to play. And then came the 2X4 churches that started adding "INT" to their names. And then we built and empty stadium and we thought we should call it EL WAK sports complex and from then every structure built with one or two glasses became complex.

In a tropical region like us, just because there is an air condition in the building, alarm system or whatnots, we deem it fit to call it a complex. What is complex about having these facilities in one building- air conditioners, a pharmacy, conference room, VIP suite, chancellor suite, bed lift, physiotherapy, internet connectivity, and nurse call/alarm systems and other facilities.

We've been robbed of the good things for so long that all these basic things become wow in our closed minds.
Way back in the '60s, Nkrumah added telephones on the Tema motorway for emergencies, but we never maintained it, but if one is being installed today along one of the hiways , we'd probably think it's the best thing since Adam.
How come we've allowed ourselves to be this backward despite the education we thought we had?
