Their own professional group that the hired and paid with the taxpayers money told them that there was no contract between Maaame/Daaavi Ghana and their cronies, yet they went ahead and stole our monies to pay them.

The NDC just used the NPP as an excuse to steal, and thank God, our Supreme Court has come to our rescue.

We heard their leader and president tell the whole nation that they have chopped all the meat on Maaame/Daaavi Ghana and now she is left with the bones.

Professional thieves who even steal public toilets,lorry parks,markets,Toll Booths e.t.c.

Is Kwadwo Mpiani telling us that the 'new' contract received parliamentary approval,as the SC ruling had made stipulated for all international business transactions?
In fact what this case clearly illustrates is the capricious conduct of people like Kwadwo Mpiani, in the exercise of state power.What could be the moral justification for yanking a contract from a Spanish company that had established it its bona fides, only to turn around, and engage in a tortious search for hitherto unknown Spanish company that was unfamiliar with the Ghanaian dusiness-political environment? Kwadwo Mpiani can tickle himself and claim victory in last Thursday`s SC verdict which, in no way endorsed the bizarre conduct of the inter-ministerial c`ttee he chaired! Ghanaians are not that stupid,and saw through all that took place when they were running the govt.

NDC paid a claimant who had no contract - if that was by mistake then it shows gross incompetence on their part; if the money was paid knowingly then it was plain robbery. Either way NDC should bow its head in shame. You cannot spin this judgement

We are all responsible for what is happening to us. I qoute the following excerpt from a very thougtful writer :

" It is interesting to listen to and watch so many people praise Martin Amidu for singlehandedly fighting a thoroughly corrupt and morally bankrupt government that designed a criminal enterprise of siphoning funds from the national treasury into their private pockets while defiling the judicial process.

Make no mistake about it all --- there is no way that over $100M of government funds could be paid to an individual who has not done any work without the full knowledge and tacit cooperation of the Cabinet and the Government of the day. Anyone who argues against this self-evident proposition is also making the case that Cabinet and Government is totally incompetent so much so that they should never have been in government in the first place.

The victories of Martin Amidu at the Supreme Court will be meaningless unless it is followed by a competent prosecution of the criminal protagonists: Betty Mould, Barton Oduro and all those who were part of the conspiracy. Such prosecution, if it is to be meaningful, cannot be carried out by the Attorney General's office and may require the appointment of a Special Prosecutor by an Act of Parliament.

A full scale and competent investigation must also be undertaken to ascertain the role that Cabinet played in this criminal enterprise. If we can bring US investigators to investigate the cause of fires, so should we bring them to investigate this judgment debt crisis.

But beyond that, it is time for each and every concerned citizen to examine his or her own conscience regarding how we choose our political leaders. We have allowed the politics of labels (NDC versus NPP) and tribe to create fertile grounds for criminals to hijack the political process for the sole purpose of winning power to raid the national treasury.

If there are schools under trees or hospitals without doctors, it is so because our political process diverts resources away from these activities to individuals masquerading as politico-financial engineers.

And all of us must bear the blame because we have failed to use the power of choosing our leaders wisely!

That, these foreign companies entered into NO willful contractual discussions with the Ghanaian government officials to perform a service or provide a good; performed NO services or delivered NO goods from which Ghana benefited in some form, and just presented an invoice to be paid for non-performance; and when Ghana chose not to pay, these "fraud companies, headed by white people in an attempt to defraud black Africans and steal their resources yet again", sued and were awarded judgment debt payment without ever showing proof of any performance; and the BAFOOON gov't officials just wrote them a blank check, which they took to the bank and cashed?
