Ghana is biset with numerous financial problems.Is it mismanagement of our financial resources ?.While past and present governments are causing abrogation of contracts resulting into Judgement debts to be paid to affected companies and individuals,we as people of Ghana are never serious.Tax to be collected at our various ports of entry into our country,goes to the private pockets of individuals who are charged with the responsibility to collect these tax.We have alot of loop holes in our tax collection system to plug.Utility providers have never accounted for all monies collected fom consumers.They have never care to inform we the consumers how the money was utilised yet they keep on requesting for increament in tarrif.Am totally disappointed with what is happing in Ghana where no body care for the future of this our great country.I want the present Government to be serious of what I observe for the future of our country.

Some of these businesses should not be operating in the country if this is their attitude to their own wrong-doing. I would prefer to see some individuals given custodial sentences as part of the process like we saw in the ENRON or Maddoff case in the United States to teach these "fat cats" that they are not above the law, and that however long they 'swindle' the State. it will catch up with them eventually.

It is a complete nonsense that having got away so lightly (in my view), they have the audacity to complain about their punishment!!! I hope they are also picking up ALL the legal bills including Martin Amidu's costs as part of the deal!!!
