Like Nana Akufo-Addo who believes that it is his "ordained destiny" to be president, Mahama has every right to think that his election is indeed "God-ordained".

For after all, having been picked by the late president Mills as Vice-presidential running mate, he was probably hoping to serve two terms as Vice president IF they won re-election with Mills as president. Sadly, this was not the case and 4 months before the General elections, the president, his boss passed away, and he had to take over the affairs of State. This was surely an unexpected outcome, plus he had the responsibility to LEAD his party into the elections, a no mean task by any standards.

That he was able to do so, and to (in my view) WIN the elections is indeed a miracle (from his point of view). Unless you have been in a situation where you have FELT in a COLD CHILL the HAND of God on you and his grace and mercy to deliver you from an impossible situation or grant you a favour such as becoming president of a whole nation when you least expected such favours, you will never comprehend the MIRACULOUS nature of these happenings.

I believe Mahama having personally experienced what he believes is God's Hand in his victory (though being challenged by the NPP-USA supporters and petitioners in court), rightfully seeks to give the glory where it is due - to God!!! What is wrong with that?

Why do some people think they are more Christian or religious than others? And who gave the NPP-USA the right or authority to think that they are the 'rightful custodians' of anything gospel, Christian or faith??

Thankfully, religion, scripture and praise and recognition of God's gift and His effect on man is not something to buy or purchase from some sources and is available and FREE for all to enjoy.

Allow the president of Ghana to partake of this Joy that surpasses all understanding and believe you me, unless, and until you have experienced the Hand of God on your life personally, you will not understand what a MIRACLE is - Mahama has experienced it, NPP-USA apparently HAVE NOT, and so cannot comprehend despite their many hours of praying and fasting and false prophecies that came out of their own mouths. Be careful when you quote scriptutre, for you may be the ones taking the name of the Lord in vain here MR, not the president!!!

Question what is blasphemy?
Let's allow the bible to answer.

"The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God."

Did Mr Mahama make himself God? No. What he said was his personal belief that God has granted him the victory. What is wrong with that statement?

It must be noted that the Supreme Court has not released its findings in the election petition case. And don't you think it is premature to claim Mr Mr Mahama used fraudulent means to win the election?

My reason is,Mr. President is for Ghana and if we all are for Ghana too, why can't we support him and pray for him to have the knowledge and wisdom to rule our country until the verdict comes out? Some of us called him all sorts of names like blasphemous,womanizer,criminal, killer etc. what are we getting out of all these. What are our gains when we condemned our own sitting president?
