I reserve the right as a citizen of Ghana to protect and defend my honour and integrity should this civilized challenge for the truth be ignored.

This is not the price I should be made to pay by the Government of Ghana for defending the Constitution of Ghana in the Waterville and Isofoton unconstitutional payments declared by the Supreme Court.

You should learn to be unaffected by the past ( Nelson Mandela ).The most important thing is that you are alive. You could have been long gone. How do you come by this outrageous suggestion that he(Tsikata), "is... still in alliance and connivance with murderers and thieves"? Arthur Kennedy is partisan and dishonest in not pointing out that Tsikata was freed as a result of a deal between NDC and NPP not to pursue crooks from both parties. It is this Mills-Kufuor pact on behalf of their respective parties and governments that resulted in the greedy bastard, Tsatsu, being pardoned.

After we went on demos against JJ for opting for IMF loans to embark on austerity measures: structural adjustment programmes, did we not march on the principal streets of Accra in 1983 and were subsequently sent home for 11 months? And did Arthur ever return to Legon to complete his studies? Did he not get sponsorship from the likes of Victor Owusu and Prof Adu Boahene to flee to Canada to seek asylum? My memory still remained fresh when we have to queue for Gari. Maize, Meat, GTP Cloth, and you can mention them. The system was so much porous that Ghana was at the verge of suffocating. That was the epoch of Kalabule and Gyenabu and all sort of manners by the so called few privileged business men.There were no medicines at the hospitals because the medicines found there way into drug stores and Pharmacy shops and out of the reach of the ordinary Ghanaian.Ghana is for all Ghanains and let us call a spade a spade. Rawlings era in Ghanaian history has ushered a new era of rulership and the rule and as a matter of fact it was his reign that has led to the drawing of our constitution and the democracy that you and l are enjoying today. It is left to you and me to help nature it, guide it, protect it and build upon it so that our future generations will find it great and very very proud to be call a Ghanaian

I have to admit that I have not read the reflective piece mentioned by Dr Kenedy by I can deduce that it is about the injustice metted out to Mr Tsatsu Tsikata by former President Kuffour.
We ahve continued to make the mistake that anybody who was part of any govrnment need to carry the baggage of that government. The people of Ghana votes of president and parliamentarian. Anybody who works in any government does so on the discretion of the president who is the head of that government. It is the president who takes the credit or lame of that government. It is also for any company with directors. No two people have the same mind so every individual will approach an issue differently if given the opportunity. President Mahama, even though part of Prof Mills government has his own approach to every issue. So will Mr Akufo Addo in the unlikely event that he becomes the president of Ghana. The best Mr Tsatsu could do was to resign if he does not agree with something in the government of President Rawlings but it is Rawlings who take the bash for any wrong doing of that government. Resignation is not part of Africans more so when access to job is very difficult.
Mr Tsatsu I guess has narrated his experience in connection to his jail sentence in the so called piece described by Arthur Kennedy. What relation has it got with happenings to President Rawlings. Is it an issue of comparing injustices in the two governments which Kennedy wants to aver our minds to?
It is important to treat various issues on their own merits because no two situations can be the same. What cause Mr Tsatsu's imprisonment is not the same to the issues that caused others to be imprisoned under President Rawlings.
This is what we call intellectual dishonesty and it is sad that people like Mr Kennedy wanted to e president of Ghana but Ghanaians are too smart to make that mistake of allowing it.
For NPP and its followings, they hate anything about Tsikata but I am glad those of us who are progressive will hail Tsatsu for what he is. We dont care who you are Arthur Kennedy. We dont live for you people but we do for God. You are limited like us but e assured that we shall continue this fight.

Arthur K was a NUGS president during his student days (I used to be one of the representatives of my school during Congress, IPS that is)and a vocal opponent of the regime. Attempts were made on his life several times by Jerry in the end he had to leave medical School and flee for his life.
We all know who Jerry's henchmen were. Why didn't they protest when he was killing arbitrarily.
Does Tsatsu's life count more than others? I am just wondering.

But read the comment of the contributor that tagged on mine after yours and you may get much of what I meant. Arthur Kennedy had for most of his prominent activist political journey rejected Nkrumah and his contributions. So, it was a shocker to hear him now include Nkrumah as one his idols.

I hope that adequately clears the cloud over your mind on my question. There was no tangent off which I veered. Don't hallucinate next time when responding to comments I make here.

It is obvious that Danquah undermined Nkrumah when they realised the potentials of the dictator,I can say for sure that you all of the NPP followed up with the same hatred for the man today. You guys always try to praise Danquah for what he never did. He had dream for Ghana but did nothing to make us see it. Is it not hatred he portrayed towards Nkurumah and the CPP?

There is a difference between talking about dream and seeing that it happened, Nkrumah's dream was a dream fulfilled. We were aware of bombs thrown at him in Accra arena and many areas you Kennedy can add to it. Where was Danquah and what was he and the group doing then? Danquah never died for Ghana because he allowed hatred to lead him in all his activities just because of Nkrumah the dictator who brought Progress that the so called democracy has not yet achieved because of our daily arguments for nothing, but only 'pulling leg' .
