I hope the promotion of this Uncle (Tom) Obama guy by the global white supremacist/imperialist establishment into a good position to become President of America will serve to teach naive and simple-minded Africans, not just to support people for sentimental, racial or ethnic considerations only. We must always open our eyes to the bigger picture. World politics is like a chess game and we must begin to look at it as such - in all its complications.

Throughout history, from the period of the slave trade to the present, white people have used, misused and manipulated some of our own people against us to our considerable detriment. Now bcause the imperialist history that we are still taught in our schools does not properly focus on our own specific history of Africa and Africans, but emphasizes mainly on the record of achievements of our slave masters, we have ended up looking up to them as superior beings and sadly not knowing much about our own past. If we did, we would realize how they have cheated and used us thousands of times against our own interests for their multiple advantage.

When they wanted to commit one of the worse instances of crimes against humanity in world history, they undermined and got rid of a more honorable African and manipulated Kofi Annan, a timid Black diplomat, to become the UN Secretary General so that they can first of all get the sympathies of Africa and the rest of the third world and then to more effectively work around him to attack Iraq, which they did.

When they thought that it was time to execute their long-term plan of murdering Brother Ghadafi whose historical accomplishments were disproving the great white imperialist lie that the African is inferior and incapable of managing his own affairs, Obama was without much fuss foisted on the impressionable and pliable people of America to execute the dastardly act. The clandestine motive being that an African attacking another African will not ruffle many feathers in Africa and the third world.

Obama, a half-caste African, became President of the US after serving in several high profile positions including the American senate, when he did not even know that his own blood half-sister had been living in America as an illegal immigrant for several years. This alone should tell us all what kind of African Obama is and who we are dealing with.

Even the equally pliable and 'obedient' African-American community in America has grown completely disillusioned with the man who not too long ago they hailed as the first Black American President. Today, they have reverted to their original idol of Bill Clinton as the first 'Black' American President. Officially Obama is recorded as the American President who has in his tenure, done the least for Africa in recent times.

Today, because the effeminate Cameron and vague Francois Hollande of France have not been able to properly execute the grand evil imperialist homosexual agenda in Africa, Obama, the Black tough guy, and "strong leader" of the global imperialist lobby, has been drafted to impress upon his African "brothers and sisters" to forcibly adopt what we in Africa have, and will continue to reject in no uncertain terms - homosexuality.

I'm a little appalled by President Obama preaching homosexuality rights on the continent of Africa and not in Europe, although I'm an ardent supporter of his and voted for him twice to become the president of U.S. of A.

Here are a few facts, folks:

1) Societies, nations and cultures develop at different stages and that's why we have huge disparities in virtually all economic, social and technological measures among nations. Some nations are faster, while others (like Africa) are moving at a snail’s pace.

2) America's working constitution was crafted as way back as 1776, while Ghana's "working constitution" is only 21years old. Therefore, American society, as old as Methuselah, has gone through rough and tumble times to get to where they are now, so leave these Negroes alone to figure out how to feed themselves.

3) Very Important: Black Americans couldn't vote until the American Voting Rights in 1965 and neither could they sit in front of public buses, or attend White schools or eat at Whites' restaurants, etc., etc., etc. But, friend Obama, before you were born in 1960, Ghanaians (then Gold Coast) COULD VOTE—in 1953, 1954, 1957 and on and on. So, how could the Gold Coast (now Ghana) be smart enough to grant voting rights to all adults, BUT NOT IN AMERICA? See, the hypocrisy and double talk from westerners.

My salient point in all this is that: "cultures and societies don't mature at the same level or time", so just give Africans some hundred years and they may sanction gay marriages, BUT FOR NOW, PLEASE DON'T CONFUSE PEOPLE WHO'RE LOOKING FOR JOBS, HOUSING, TRANSPORTATION, EDUCTION, HEALTH CARE, etc., etc., with your westerns style mumbo jumbo. AFRICA DOESN'T NEED THAT NOW. Just talk about technology, trade and economic development to the African leaders—because that’s what they badly need and not SAME SEX FOOLISHNESS!!

Most of us are wired towards heterosexuality; a small but significant part of population and nature are wired towards homosexuality. Basically, in nature, we find sexuality along a skewed continuum towards heterosexuality.

As Christians, the bible teaches us to practice tolerance (NOT THE SAME AS ACCEPTANCE). Unfortunately, the fake Christians among us cannot tell the difference between tolerance and acceptance. So any talk about tolerance i.e., what Obama is talking about becomes a personal affront.

Contrary to you, I am not particularly interested in this homosexuality. I don't like most of the Ghanaian politicians because of their paradigms that clearly stands on rapacious and malicious intentions, an example of which is Ocquaye.
My comment to his takes on the issue is clear and it is my belief he might see it.
On the other hand, instead of asking my motives in my address you too to insulting me, like the irresponsible and uncultivated persons that you are or portrayed of yourself...

This is the usual blurb à la Ghanaian, of course without merit. It is a faux-probleme, an issue in the void. So far as Ghana is concerned, no one – I believe – will ever talk of legal issues concerning homosexuality but be must not pray the hypocritical as if this sexual situation never existed until now. What is creating its prominence is demography, so it amplifies as the populations increase. We all know it has existed. What could we have done against it? Kill our brothers and sisters for their sexual orientations?

What I come to loathe about us Ghanaians, is the refusal to face the truth, even in the slimiest circumstances. We have to be worried about the rather rapid proliferation of churches and religious activities at the same time as issues of moral decadence and so many other morality problems increase with amazing prevalence.

What is furious is those in the political fields who try to seize the occasion as standpoint to suffocate their irresponsibility and inadequacies, and thus shift the heat on them to irrelevant issues that don’t put food on the poor man’s table in Ghana.
Was it not this same Prof Ocquaye who’s mentioned only yesterday by his own NPP party members who are also Isofoton leaders as blamable for the judgment debt situation in Ghana and therefore liable to be charged for financial loss to the state? He should have done well clearing his name instead of talking about homosexuality who everyone knows is far away from overt recognition in Ghana.

When his party was in power, we all saw the way he behaved; why didn’t he chastise Kufuor for his handicapped leadership?

Yes we have many other problems and homosexuality is one of them and we will deal with it as it comes. The fuss about homosexuality, as I maintain about is just a waste of time, a complete void, a faux-problème that would just hang about with no one being able to do a thing about it. Is prostitution legalized in Ghana? It is still a situation that splits opinion, like always, without anyone being able to terms with it.

Why do you guys, all of a sudden, try to cry on top of your voices as if it is a new ‘deviant’ sexual situation? It has always been in Ghana. You care much about it, I don’t give two hoots. For all that I care about, there are no such people in my families, in my friends’ families… But if there were, would I hate them for their sexual leanings?

Now, how do you get over the situation? Is it by simply announcing that gay people will not be tolerated in the country? That will be only paying lip service. That would leave them still living in Ghana. Should we vote bills against it? That will not annihilate the “tendency” or whatever label you attach to it! Do you want to kill them? If that inspires your fancy and those like you, be my bloody guest!

He is doing what others like him should: defend people considered in the minority. Even Obama himself started loathing homosexuals until way down as president when he was convinced to change sides. I saw his address on the issue.

What I hate is extremely corrupt guys like this Mike Ocquaye who dribble-coerced himself politically on Ghanaians on the ticket of his academic credentials and help NPP government siphon Ghana recycling themselves as sacrosanct and knowledgeable. And here he is all of a sudden, a moral whip, trying to talk about homosexuals.
Personally, I don’t hate homosexuals, and I prefer we don’t even talk about the subject, but I will prefer living with them to living with corrupt politicians who are killing Ghanaians through all the evils they visit on the country.

This debate is simply a human rights issue. Stupidly some ask why Obama did not marry a man and connect the issue to having children i.e., his children. Why would he marry a man when his personal wiring leads him to prefer women? I mean is anybody forcing you or any other heterosexual man or woman to marry the same sex?

For those who make this a religious issue, the bible justifies/supports slavery both in the old and new testament. Go figure.

Those who say it goes against nature should go ask biologists. Homosexual behavior has been observed in close to 1,500 species, ranging from primates to gut worms. Oh in case you were wondering, some DOGS also exhibit homosexual tendencies.

So what is point? Enough of all this self-righteousness. The bible ask that we treat others just as we would like to be treated ... it never said you have to agree with them. It also did not say you have to support someone's lifestyle before you treat them as a human being.

My personal view is that, I will never accept homosexuality as a norm. But who am I to judge? I will not hate or persecute any one who practice homosexuality. I leave that judgement for God to make. I will love all people as myself as the Bible cautions Christians to do. If you are a deeply educated Christian, you shouldn't and must not hate or judge another human. That does not mean I will ever support homosexuality. On judgement day God will make his decision. Let's love one another and live in peace and harmony.

I'm sure if the research is done, thieving behavior could be observed in the same 1,500 species, therefore by your logic its grounds for that behavior to be accepted.

Heterosexual people are not "SCARED" of homosexuals in the way you put it they frown on the practice just like you frown on 'pick pocketing' behavior unless of course you are a pick pocket, believe it or not humans have to make judgement as to what is right and/or wrong, acceptable and/or unacceptable for the greater good of society.

As Christians the bible states that Christ is the only way to our Heavenly Father; does that means any religious practice and its practioners should be exorcised by Christians? This point brings us to the call of tolerance.
You can and everyone will agree with the fact that President Obama is not a gay, thus a responsible family man with a beautiful wife and two beautiful daughters.As a president for a whole country with diverse population and practices, it will out of place for him to join the anti- tolerance movement.
Prof as a little boy, I remember your days at Agbado Chambers under the late Nathaniel Heward-Mills(father of Bishop Heward Mills). I have come to admire you as a decent and fine human being. I know your Christian teaching does not allow you to see eye to eye with gays and lesbians. However, consider yourself in the shoes of a parent whose child falls under this life style, what will you do? Disown that offspring of yours?

As a Political Science lecturer, Mike Oquaye should know better when talking about the hydra headed problems that plague our society. I always thought Mike Oquaye was an open minded intellectual and a thinker. Russia is about 75 percent anti-gay and I have not heard the same aggressive nature these Europeans and the USA vented on us directed at them. Hello! Africa is the second largest continent with over 50 independent countries. They only treat us as one country when it is something intended to oppress us and we must resist.

Gays have two good options-- join them in the west or be quiet and enjoy their quiet lives. After all, like our culture, our laws in Ghana just frowns on the behavour, so why incite people into anger or accept your orientation. Yes! to quote you..'It is your private choice' so keep it private. I know how aggressive they can be and please don't deny it because I know what it is like as a victim. THAT BEFORE A FEDERAL RELATED MARRIAGE CAN OR COULD BE VALIDATED OR DEEM TO BE LEGALLY VALID THAT THERE ARE CERTAIN CONDITIONS WHICH SHOULD OR MUST BE SATISFIED AND IN THE INSTANT CASE THAT I WOULD BE DWELLING ON ONLY ONE AMONGST OTHERS.

THAT THE FEDERAL MARRIAGE LAW PROVIDES AS A CONDITION THAT "THERE SHALL BE A CONSUMMATION OF THE MARRIAGE " AND BY INTERPRETATION THAT CONSUMMATION OF MARRIAGE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PLAIN CLOTH LEGAL TEXT PROVIDES THAT "THE MAN PENIS MUST PENETRATE INTO THE WOMAN'S VAGINA". MAY YOU KINDLY PERMIT ME FOR USING THE PLAIN CLOTH LEGAL TEXT LANGUAGE.

THAT IF A MARRIAGE CELEBRATED HAS NOT BEEN CONSUMMATED THEN IT IS A GROUND FOR THE ANNULMENT OF THE MARRIAGE.

IT IS THEREFORE MY RESPECTFUL AND CANDID SUBMISSION THAT THE FEDERAL UNIFORM MARRIAGE LAW WAS DULY ENACTED BY THE UNITED STATES CONGRESS DULY CLOTHED AND VESTED WITH LEGISLATIVE CONSTITUTIONAL AUTHORITY UNDER ARTICLE 1 OF UNITED STATES CONGRESS WHICH PROVIDES AMONGST OTHERS AS FOLLOWS:

"ALL LEGISLATIVE POWERS SHALL BE VESTED IN CONGRESS---"

THAT CONGRESS HAS DULY EXERCISED ITS CONSTITUTIONAL VESTED AUTHORITY AND POWERS AND ENACTED THE FEDERAL MARRIAGE LAW AND IT IS MY HONEST BELIEF THAT THE LAW SHOULD BE GIVEN DUE EFFECT AND TO BE UPHELD BY THE SUPREME COURT OF UNITED STATES AND TO HOLD CONTRARY IS TO BE SEEN AS A DIRECT SLAP AT THE FACE OF THE LAW, A TWIST OF JUSTICE, MIS-CARRIAGE OF JUSTICE AND A PURPORTED DECISION RENDERED "PER CURIAM".

(ii) SOME OF THE STATES GAY-RIGHTS MARRIAGE LAWS:

THAT THE UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION UNDER THE TENTH (10TH) AMENDMENTS GRANTED "RESIDUAL LEGISLATIVE POWERS AND AUTHORITY TO THE STATES AND THE PEOPLE.

THAT IT IS UNDER THIS RESIDUAL POWERS GRANTED TO THE STATES AND THE PEOPLE THAT SOME STATES RESORTED TO ENACTING "THE GAY-RIGHTS MARRIAGE LAWS".

THAT THE LEGAL ISSUES INVOLVED IN THE "SAME SEX MARRIAGE LAWS" OTHERWISE KNOWN AS "HOMOSEXUALITY MARRIAGE LAWS" HAVE SOME SERIOUS LEGAL RAMIFICATIONS IF IT COMES TO THE LEGAL ISSUE OF "CONSUMMATION OF HOMOSEXUAL MARRIAGE TO VALIDATE THE MARRIAGE".

THAT IN THE CASE OF "A MAN MARRYING ANOTHER MAN OR A WOMAN MARRYING ANOTHER WOMAN" HOW ARE THEY GOING TO SATISFY THE LEGAL REQUIREMENT OF CONSUMMATION OF THE MARRIAGE?"

WHETHER OR NOT THE MAN WOULD INSERT HIS PENIS INTO ANOTHER MAN ANUS?" AND ALSO "A WOMAN INSERTING HER FINGERS INTO ANOTHER WOMAN VAGINA OR TO INSERT ARTIFICIAL RUBBER MADE PENIS INTO ANOTHER WOMAN VAGINA?"

THAT THE ABOVE RELATED SCENARIOS SITUATIONS RENDERED THE HOMOSEXUAL MARRIAGE LAW ILLEGAL AND UNCONSTITUTIONAL.

(iii) THAT THE PRESIDENT OF UNITED STATES IN THE INSTANT CASE H.E.DR.MR.PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA DULY VESTED WITH THE CONSTITUTIONAL AUTHORITY UNDER ARTICLE 2 SECTION 3 OF THE CONSTITUTION "TO SEE TO IT THAT THE LAWS SHALL BE FAITHFULLY EXECUTED.

THAT IN PERFORMANCE OF THE FUNCTIONS OF THE PRESIDENT OF UNITED STATES IN THE WAKE OF THE FEDERAL (UNIFORM) MARRIAGE LAW CONFLICTING WITH SOME OF THE STATES HOMOSEXUAL MARRIAGE LAWS AND FOR CLARITY SAKE AND FOR THE PURPOSE OF UNIFORMITY AND TO CLEAR ALL DOUBTS, ABSURDITIES AND ABNORMALITIES SURROUNDING THE MARRIAGE LAWS IN THE UNITED STATES THAT H.E.DR.MR.PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA IN EXERCISE OF HIS CONSTITUTIONAL AUTHORITY AND POWERS VESTED IN THE PRESIDENT UNDER ARTICLE 2 SECTION 3 OF THE CONSTITUTION "TO SEE TO IT THAT THE LAWS SHALL BE FAITHFULLY EXECUTED APPROPRIATELY AND RIGHTLY REFER THE CONFLICT OF THE MARRIAGE LAWS TO THE SUPREME COURT OF UNITED STATES FOR INTERPRETATION AND ADJUDICATION SINCE THE SUPREME COURT IS DULY VESTED WITH THE CONSTITUTIONAL POWERS UNDER ARTICLE 3 OF THE CONSTITUTION TO INTERPRET THE LAWS OF THE UNITED STATES INCLUDING THE CONSTITUTION.

THAT FUNCTIONS CLEARLY DISTINCTIVELY DISTINGUISHED UNDER THE THEORY OF SEPARATION OF POWERS OF THE THREE ARMS OF GOVERNMENT.

THAT THE SUPREME COURT ON THE OTHER HAND IS NOT VESTED WITH THE POWERS TO ENACT LAWS BUT TO INTERPRET THE LAWS AND THE CONSTITUTION ALREADY MADE AND IN EXISTENCE.

THAT FOR THE SUPREME COURT TO PURPORT TO CONTRAVENE SUCH CONSTITUTIONAL AUTHORITY AND POWERS IN ITSELF AMOUNTS TO "USURPATION OF POWERS" WHICH CAN BE DEEM "AULTRA VIRES OR PER CURIAM" .

(iv) CONFLICTS OF LAWS

THAT IF THERE IS A SCENARIO RELATED CASE THAT ANY FEDERAL LAW{S) CONFLICTS WITH ANY PROVISIONS OF THE CONSTITUTION THEN THE CONSTITUTION PREVAILS.

THAT IT IS IN THE LIKEWISE MANNER THAT IF ANY STATE LAW(S) CONFLICTS WITH FEDERAL LAW(S) THEN THE FEDERAL LAW PREVAILS.

THAT IN THE INSTANT CASE THAT FEDERAL MARRIAGE LAW SHOULD TAKE PRECEDENT OVER THE STATES HOMOSEXUAL MARRIAGE LAWS.

HOWEVER, THE SUPREME COURT BASED THE "RATIO DECIDENDI" OR THE COURT LEGAL REASONING ON THE FIFTH (5TH) AMENDMENTS TO THE CONSTITUTION WHICH PROVIDES FOR "EQUAL PROTECTION CLAUSE".

THAT THE COURT TO PURPORT TO SOLELY RELIED ON THE FIFTH AMENDMENTS EQUAL PROTECTION CLAUSE WITHOUT DUE REGARDS TO "ALL APPLICABLE LAWS" OFFENDS THE RULE OF LAW AND ALSO THE COURT NEGATE THE "PUBLIC POLICY DOCTRINE AND THE COMMON SENSE APPROACH" INTERPRETATION RULES AND IN FLAGRANT TWISTING OF THE LAW AND JUSTICE RATHER "OPEN THE FLOODGATES OF DEVIANT ACT INSTEAD TO NIB IT AT THE BUD".

IT IS THEREFORE MY RESPECTFUL SUBMISSION THAT H.E.DR.MR.PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA TO SEEK REVIEW OF THE SUPREME COURT PER CURIAM DECISION OR CONGRESS TO LEGISLATE FOR FEDERAL UNIFORM MARRIAGE LAW TO BRING SANITY TO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

THEREFORE FOR PROF.MIKE OCQUAYE WHO DISPLAYED HIS GROSS IGNORANCE OF THE LEGAL ISSUES INVOLVED IN THE MATTER SHOULD RENDER APOLOGY TO H.E.DR.MR.PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA BECAUSE IN 2008 WHEN THE PRESIDENT WAS SEEKING THE PRESIDENCY ON THE TICKET AND PLATFORM OF THE NATIONAL DEMOCRATIC COMMITTEE (DNC) HIS CAMPAIGN STRATEGY SLOGAN WAS "CHANGE AND TOGETHER WE CAN AND WE WILL WIN".

THAT ON THE 2012 CAMPAIGN STRATEGY SLOGAN WAS "FORWARD---".AND WHEN THE PRESIDENT WON FOR THE SECOND TERM AND ON THE DAY OF THE INAUGURATION THAT FIRST LADY MICHELLE OBAMA HELD THE HOLY BIBLE AND H.E.DR.MR.PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA PLACED HIS HAND ON THE HOLY BIBLE AND SWORE THE OATH OF THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENCY TO UPHOLD AND TO DEFEND THE CONSTITUTION OF UNITED STATES IN THE PRESENCE OF THE PRESIDENT TWO (2) BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTERS MALIA AND SASHA.

THAT TO SAY THE LEAST IN CONCLUSION THAT H.E.DR.MR.PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA IS A MARRIED MAN WITH A BEAUTIFUL WIFE FIRST LADY MICHELLE OBAMA AND TWO BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTERS AS MENTIONED ABOVE.

Former Presidential Aspirant Professor Mike Ocquaye has asked the African Union (AU) to treat with utmost “contempt” and “disdain”, President Obama’s call on African nations to decriminalise homosexuality.

Speaking in Senegal on his second trip to sub-Saharan Africa, Mr. Obama urged African nations that treat homosexuality as a crime, such as Senegal, to ensure gays and lesbians are not discriminated against by their governments.

However, Prof. Ocquaye, who is also a Reverend Minister as well as a former Legislator, has told XYZ News African leaders must send a strong reply to the US and President Obama that homosexuality and lesbianism are an abomination on the continent.

“…This is what the African Union must do”, Prof. Ocquaye said vehemently, adding that: “They should treat it with contempt and they should make it clear to him what our own ideas, beliefs and values are and that the permissive society which is now destroying the world, we will not import it”.

He bewailed what he described as an increasingly decadent society and put it down to the foisting of alien cultures on Africans by Western societies.

“…Why won’t children become wayward when they don’t know what is mummy and what is daddy? When the primary source of control is destroyed? When the family from which everything else starts and the child is going to be taught to call a man, mother; no wonder the society will go crazy,” he charged.

“…Can you imagine two Ghanaian families [arranging a marriage between] one man with a mustache and another with a beard?” He wondered.

President Obama on Thursday called the US Supreme Court’s decision to overturn the Defense of Marriage Act, a “victory for American democracy” and said he had directed his administration to find ways to make sure gay couples received the benefits for which they were now eligible.

Mike Ocquaye must understand that democracy and human rights go hand in hand and therefore, it will be an impertinent for president Obama to speak against gay issues when he mounts the international stage to address issues as the leader of democracy of the world,president Obama may be inwardly condemnds gay activites he will speak the need to protect democracy and human rights because the two issues can not be separated, this Mr. Mike Ocquaye must understan as a politician but must not think of "small minds here"i beg to differ with professor Mike Ocquaye!

If gays would accept not to have children unnaturally, nobody would be on their case, but when they insist to have children with either two mothers (mother, mother-father) or two fathers (mother-father, father-father) then the state have to have a say in it.

And more importantly who decides for the unborn child the sort of unnatural parental choice that is foisted on the poor soul
