John Mahama and his thieving clique have wiped the coffers clean and dry. There's no more for striking teachers, doctors, pharmacists, road construction contractors, polytechnic teachers, there's n money for subvention for Ghanaian students studying abroad, in the UK, China, etc, etc, there's no money to pay off our bulk fuel/oil storage and transport contractors, there's no money to fix our electricity and water problems. The economy is in a comatose state, and gov't is now seeking to float a 1 billion dollar bond, which is full of pork projects that would not benefit the masses, but rather increase their debt stock.
According to the report from the Gov't Statistician, the economy experienced a growth rate of 6.7%, as compared to last year of a little over 10%. All the indices in that report were trending in the negative and it was amazing, they even classified it as growth. Such is the sorry state of affairs in Ghana after just 4 years of the Mills-Mahama-Amissah Arthur administration. Under this team ineptitude and crass incompetence has been elevated to unseen proportions, whilst stealing has become the very oxygen of their sustenance.
