...The Government exercised the latter option when we disagreed over the judgment debt and other Gargantuan crimes. The Government, and my colleague Ministers at the time know that there was no provision for dismissal under my contract of employment as a Minister or that of any Minster.

I reserve the right as a citizen of Ghana to protect and defend my honour and integrity should this civilized challenge for the truth be ignored.

This is not the price I should be made to pay by the Government of Ghana for defending the Constitution of Ghana in the Waterville and Isofoton unconstitutional payments declared by the Supreme Court.

The opening paragraph states, “I came to serve; I have finished my time here on earth and have moved on to everlasting rest and celestial duties with my heavenly father.”

The immediate question is; how did the dead man come to sign his own personal tribute, since he is already in heaven?

The letter then goes on melodramatically, “As you leaf through these pages of my life’s story, I pray to God that it touches your heart in many positive ways. Weep not, I am not dead. Like many issues in Ghana these days(galamsey, gold bars heading to Iran, power shortage, judgement debt etc) it'll just fizzle out "BASAA" until the next one crops up. finally my question to the SC is; what makes them think that they can't be criticized? or even better who do they think they are, untouchables? The former deputy registrar of the Ghana School of Law (GSL), Mr. John Yaw Opoku has said that Mr. Gabby Otchere-Darko, Managing Editor of the Statesman and host of Gabby?s Air Time on TV 3 was to repeat his class at the law school but was passed on orders.

Testifying before the committee probing Kwaku Ansa-Asare, yesterday, he stated that, one of the issues that precipitated his termination from the school had to do with his insistence that Mr. Otchere- Darko had failed and should have been repeated.

Explaining, he said, under the law school regulations, LI 12(96) PNDC law 1984, when a student failed in two subjects, he must be repeated; where the failure was in only one subject, he must be promoted and asked to rewrite his papers.

In the case of Gabby however, he had failed two subjects, but when he informed the director about this development he said he had failed only one subject, so must be promoted. Mr. Otchere Darko was taking the preliminary law course (professional law course part 2).

Mr. Opoku said he stood his grounds, but Gabby went to Ansa-Asare, who ordered him to allow Gabby to carry on and take his papers as referred ones.

According to the witness, despite his insistence that this was improper, Ansa-Asare had his way and Gabby was allowed to proceed to the final stage and eventual completion.

Mr. Opoku who declared that he had never been queried throughout his professional career, spanning fifteen years, including a stint at WAEC, said he was shocked when the very week, during which he had an encounter with Gabby over his results, he received a letter terminating his appointment.

He told the committee that he felt very sad for the defence of the General Legal Council, chaired by the Chief Justice Mr. George Kingsley Acquah.

The deputy registrar who said he was at the Law school for three years, noted that there was no administrative set up at the school, which situation had created room for Ansa- Asare to appear to be the sole source of power.

As a common Ghanaian, I am compelled under the situation some people who should know better and set good examples are behaving, hence this reaction. Gabby, what at all do you want to tell us now? Your positions in the NPP party and its nearer organisation Danquah Institute, does not qualify you to write anything you are not sure of to be the case, in the media. You should be of good example to your followers, who are behind you. You should not or stop misleading them.
The court has invited two people from NDC and one from the Press (Ken Kuranchie), do you know why they are invited? Do you want to tell us that you know better than your lawyers (NPP lawyers at the court) and the SC Judges? Why do you want to mislead your followers? Set good example to your followers. Appart from Lawyers and Medical Doctors, where you have to prove you have studied these professions, others you don´t need to. This does not mean a politician should just wake up, talk and mislead people, a Journalist to write anything because no one will ask him to prove it or check what he wrote.
In your position I expect from you to be a good example. Exactly what the SC wants to avoid is what you are doing. Thank you.
