The board should be an autonomous to government who will audit their operations for proper accountability.

Why I`m saying that is, NPP are well known of anything dubious for themselves. In their own case is not about hiding but plain plain to show people of Ghana that, they only like a particular tribe to be reach while other tribes will continue to be poor. It happened over and over whenever they come to power. Why NDC is also trying to that? NDC is the only last hope for Ghana, they should think about that and not to become NPP junior.

Any river, no matter how it meanders, ends in the sea and all these legal corruption going on under our noses, has full backing of our leaders else, they will put mechanisms in place to stop it.

The best we can do is to go begging for loan and even that is shared while the poor and the downtrodden, are always praying for miracles from an unseen hands of God. Tweakai.

Those who are of the view that we can manage our own affairs, are nothing but thieves themselves. The rot in the system started the day we weaned ourselves from the "pink skin man" and there is no way out because any attempt to stop the rot, will invited the anger of the powers that be to eliminate anyone trying to stop them from looting.

The corrupt P/NDC regime, more than any other, is responsible for more state assets being looted and/or laid to waste in Ghana’s history! And some of the culprits are from the highest echelons of the NDC kleptocracy: founder, Jerry Rawlings, his wife Nana Konadu Agyeman, and Totobi Quakye, ex-Chairperson of the Divestiture Implementation Commission, ex-Minister, current Advisor to Mahama and also head of the National Communications Board.
The Auditor-General, under the Kufuor administration, released a damning report regarding the divestiture of many state assets including those acquired by Konadu Agyeman Rawlings (and for which Mills paid US$ 5 million dollars as judgment debt!). Following the release of the report, Totobi Quakye was summoned to appear before the courts but fled overseas where he remained until the NDC electoral victory in 2008. Instead of prosecution, Quakye was rather rewarded with a new post by the Mills-Mahama administration just as ex-convict, Sipa Yankey, was put in charge of the all-important Ghana Gas Corporation! It is also quite interesting that proceeds from the sale of Atlantic Hotel in Takoradi cannot be accounted for, considering that there are rampant allegations that Quakye is the real owner of the property.
Ghanaians can expect absolutely nothing to be done by the current NDC government towards recovery and restitution of the proceeds from the divestiture of state assets. The government’s hands are soiled and deep in the sordid muck of this scandal!

Please before any more assets are sold publish the names of the individuals and companies who have bought all the sold state enterprises since 1966.The govt must also provide details of any economic benefits the state has enjoyed since privatisation begun with NLC under Busia, Afrifa.Ankra etc. The NDC govt owe us the people an explanation about why it wants to sell more state assets when it has failed to account for the proceeds from the previous sale carried out under their rule.
