In democratic countries the SC is respected because the judges only adjudicate cases referred to the SC from other lower courts. They know their decision is final and they do not rush to make political pronouncements. Respect is not enforced but earned.

And Sammy and others know this very very well. In Uk if you threaten to kill someone or your neigbour you go to jail even though no physical offence is committed yet, it is the intent that the charge is based upon. There is a limit to freedom of speech which most Ghanaian do understand .
