Since before independence we have been plagued by all sorts of ruthless , vicious and willfully authoritative govts that all have one thing in common , denying the right of free speech and proper analysis of the motives and agendas they seek to keep hidden . Most of these govts were led by people who didnt belong to the majority but rather minority tribes and very marginal political clans . starting with nkrumah who is praised to high heaven but this same oligarchy , he st in motion a climate of fierce political antagonism whereby moderate minds of a liberal persuasion had no business in participating as only the radicals could stand the heat .The MOTIVE , be able to spend without consensus or agreement the wealth of the nation ie in today's jargon chop Ghana money some . This style and system of government was perfected by kwasea rawlings and today we have pepeni whose agenda is finalse the colonization of the majority , the Akans with the assistance of the homicidal ayigbe and the idiot pepefuo . they now use the institution called the supreme court to gag all free thinking individuals so the climate is set to enslave and now steal the oil and gas. they tell us nkrumah was so good so i say to them we hope ghana breaks up and their first presidents are just like him. when we secede we give them all the gold reserves in Switzerland and pay them another 20 billion on top so these ewes and pepefuo are rich and let their nkrumah come and spend that money in 2 years and leave them in debt for 2000 years , that is our revenge . hopefully their first nkrumah presidents are just as manipulative and propagandists so a greater part of that money is used to secure the unity of the universe as thats a very good thing not only african or nigger unity . the rest of the money we graciously leave them should be used in establishing useless unsustainable businesses that only feed other economies and drain their own . yes we wish them well as they have to us for over 60 years . we in the meantime Akans will build a nation truly worthy of our capabilities and potentials with a minimum wage of not less than 10,000 dollars so our beers in our bars are at least 100 dollars so these pepefuo and ayigbe idiots can not afford to visit us just like the Japanese do to their ndc idols the Chinese , long live the republic of Akan

We had 2 development programmes that semi-industrialised us creating state industries, infrastructure like schools, universities, hospitals/poly-clinics, roads, transportation and full employment with the Workers Brigade. Our unique Black Star Line Shipping Co, Ghana Airways and Ghana Atomic Research Institute were all run by Ghanaians. I have given some figures to illustrate the billions of US$ they have been siphoning 'legally' out of our country.

If you are a true, reasoning patriot, you will join me to condemn all of them, rather than be a simplistic, insulting, neocolonial apologist for the bankrupting economic behaviour of western Trans-National firms.

The thrust of your argument is that the Chinese are also exploiting us. Fine, but do you not intelligently see that both the west and east are equally culpable in exploiting us? If you do, then is it not patriotic and helpful on my part to point that out for public discourse?

Lastly, you must revisit some of my Ghanaweb posts to see my alternative to the economic mayhem being wrecked on Ghana/Africa. I have even suggested in this article that we nationalises our key economic sectors to fund the launch of a sustained science and technology-led Development and Modernisation Programme (DMP). I have listed reason and benefits.

The trouble with foul-mouthed critics like you, is that you take a section of what someone has written and attack it without the debating compass necessary to place that in the overall context of what is being argued. It was on the 6th day of March 1957 that our gifted leaders, who emancipated us from colonial rule said" ghana a new born country is caperble of minding its own affairs." My question here is, have we been able to do so?, for the past half a hundread years?
what is holding us up? This is not the problems of the powers out side our nation, but the problem from with in For the Ghanian is selfish, corupt and evil. we have all the natural resources and natural gift, but its managment has been evil to us as we keep electing people without self esteam to govvern us. Again as people with low caperbilities (the Military) keeps on interfering in our day to day couutry management.
I believe now is the time for Ghana to reason and move ahead just like THe Korans, North and south, Malasha and India.
Let those who has political knowledge and know how steer the wheels of this little nation.
God loves us and keep opening avenues to us. He has recently given us Oil, let us use it wisely. and move ahead like other nations.Let us stop debating about Gayism in our house and focus on important matters and issues. let us think about scientific progerss and innovations, and stop thinking about what happends behind in our bed rooms. It has been proven time and time again that Governments every where cannot manage businesses, it is worse in Ghana, because we cannot manage anything. The so-called free enterprise system has shown time and again it has inherent distortions. This is why they keep stripping state asserts.

Also Ghana/Africa has had a sordid history in western enslavement and colonisation. It is thus, unacceptable that our asinine leaders have sold all our key state owned economic sector to the very western nations that once colonised and exploited us. This must be reversed to Ghana's/Africa's self-interest!

Our distorted economic structure with the west compels us to intelligently institute state defined economic policies. This, of course, must not preclude private enterprise. All I am saying is that the private sector must not keep stealing ('divest') state enterprises.

Have you asked yourself why Ghana was economically most successful African nation and developing nation in the world under Dr. Nkrumah? Do you not know that the institutional bases of everything that works in Ghana was built in the Nkrumah era? If you finally find out I am right, then why are you and your bankrupt, corrupt, neocolonial NDC-NPP leadership not recognising that the IMF-SAP nonsense has not worked since December 1982 when JJ Ramwlings sold us to western capital under pain of imprisonment, death or exile?

If the private sector is so good, why don't they build and make a success of their own industries? Why are they continuing to be vulturous of the few state industries and commodity sectors that Dr. Nkrumah bequeathed us? THINK GHANA/AFRICA my friend.

I agree with you,i long for the day when we can point to something and say, we built that one,but then how do we go about it, where do we start,what is the priority?. To be able to achieve first world status, to be able to build those infrastructure,what you need above all else is electricity. Electricity is what powers your machines in the factories, in the mines and the trains. You need to have electricity in abundance and affordable,then you can put up your skyscrapers, build your bridges and construct your railway systems, and only nuclear energy,supplemented with other sources like solar and wind can give us that freedom. It is clean,safe and efficient.
