Moron, when NPP assumed office in 2001, we have more debts, 7.2 billion than GDP, 7.2 billion compared to 3.8 billion. When NPP left in 2009, we have a GDP of 32 billion and a debt of 8.2 billion and you call that deplorable condition? Our inflation when NDC left in 2001 was 42% and NPP reduced it to 18%.

NDC left a 3 week import coverage in 2001 but NPP left an import coverage of 3 months in 2009.

NPP left the economy in a better footing which has been destroyed by the NDC, the same party that left Ghana in HIPC status in 2001.

If the GRA is not working to efficiency , why so? Do we still have people nickel and diming the State in inordinate ways?
Such nuts should be flushed out. Appointing a new guy will not solve the problem but punishing the culprits will.

Do these people not have a set agenda for each passing day with targets on what to achieve? They are all clueless. Even if you as a so called leader can mobilize the people in your community to clean their small community on a weekend once a month, it will be a step forward rather than all the rubbish we hear everyday from you these politicians. Has politics now become a means to an end for you people? And the sad part is that it is only the innocent ignorant people that suffer for your careless utterances on radio.

These people agree on pay rise without any complaints but have not come out with anything innovative in the form of job creation, improving utilities delivery, social issues, the filth in our systems and our numerous problems. I agree...this is a vicious cycle - when the people pay taxes (no matter how little they may be)and there is no apparent real use of these resources, no one will continue to pay. In many developed places, the people run to the tax office or file their taxes before the deadline - one, because they know the system is such that there are consequences if you fail to pay on time and they also know that the collectors of these funds ensure that they will be put to good use. Take TV licence fee for eg - instead of taxing it at the point of sale, people who were being patriotic enough to pay the first time are the people who continue to be harrassed. If you leave this to the end user, it will never be paid.
