Never thought I will ever agree with this Amaliba guy but what he said is what I have a problem with in the whole saga.

Ken Kuranchi should have been sent to appear with different Judges to adjudicate his contempt case and not the Committee members hearing the election petition case.

How could Atuguba and his members be litigants in this case and Judges at the same time?

Most of these govts were led by people who didnt belong to the majority but rather minority tribes and very marginal political clans . starting with nkrumah who is praised to high heaven but this same oligarchy , he st in motion a climate of fierce political antagonism whereby moderate minds of a liberal persuasion had no business in participating as only the radicals could stand the heat .The MOTIVE , be able to spend without consensus or agreement the wealth of the nation ie in today's jargon chop Ghana money some . This style and system of government was perfected by kwasea rawlings and today we have pepeni whose agenda is finalse the colonization of the majority , the Akans with the assistance of the homicidal ayigbe and the idiot pepefuo . they now use the institution called the supreme court to gag all free thinking individuals so the climate is set to enslave and now steal the oil and gas. they tell us nkrumah was so good so i say to them we hope ghana breaks up and their first presidents are just like him. when we secede we give them all the gold reserves in Switzerland and pay them another 20 billion on top so these ewes and pepefuo are rich and let their nkrumah come and spend that money in 2 years and leave them in debt for 2000 years , that is our revenge . hopefully their first nkrumah presidents are just as manipulative and propagandists so a greater part of that money is used to secure the unity of the universe as thats a very good thing not only african or nigger unity . the rest of the money we graciously leave them should be used in establishing useless unsustainable businesses that only feed other economies and drain their own . yes we wish them well as they have to us for over 60 years . we in the meantime Akans will build a nation truly worthy of our capabilities and potentials with a minimum wage of not less than 10,000 dollars so our beers in our bars are at least 100 dollars so these pepefuo and ayigbe idiots can not afford to visit us just like the Japanese do to their ndc idols the Chinese , long live the republic of Akan

When you are in contempt, the Judge put your tail in jail without any trial. afterward if you want to go on trial to fight that contempt then you have the right to do so. But in their case they waved the right to go on trial so they gave the Judges no option to do what they seem fit to the court. So for him to say that other judges should have dealt with them, to me he doesn't know what he is/was talking about. If they requested to go on trial then yes of course other judges would have dealt with them. But they waved their rights by apologizing to the court. When they apologized and told the court to tender judgement with mercy, they gave up their to go on trial. So if they are not going on trial, how can another judge or judges deal with them? If they happened to stay on their grounds and asked for trial of course some other judges would have dealt with them because these judges have their hands full. But because they did not ask for trail, these judges have no choice but dealt with them themselves. God Bless us all.

In Kuranches case, he showed up in court to argue his case out that he was not wrong. A litigant in a case cannot also be a Judge and if the 1992 constitution which has been the bane of problems in the fourth Republic, then that is really sad indeed.

Everybody watching the supreme court sitting whether in courtroom that day or watching on TV or radio sees things differently and that is human.

But you same judges that claim to have been insulted and denigrated the authority of the Supreme Court should not be the same judges to sit on the case. How could they be objective and fair. This simple common sense and common law and that is what is called "Due Process" in the true sense of democracy and the rule of law. I want to assure you one of these days when these judges have retired and they dare criticize the Supreme Court of any verdict they would be sent to jail in the manner.

You don't need a PhD to be intelligent, you don't need Master's degree to be logical. Each one of us can research and gather information about the constitution. Infact it will benefit us all to acquaint ourselves with the law so we are not taken for granted.

The worshipping of the so called educated people in our society has to stop now.. they are human beings and are prone to make mistakes just like everyone else.

The whole idea of contempt is that one has offended the rules of a specific court, and the specific court seeks to know why it, not some other court and its judge/s, should not hold the offender in contempt. Trying such a case before another judge in a separate court would not amount to a contempt case since no offence has been committed a) in such a court or b) about matters on going before such a court, or both.

This is unheard of in any democracy except in primitive societies. Who these judges thing he are- Gods? It is sickening that they can abuse power invested in them by the powers of state. When Rawlings murdered some Judges we were all angry because we believe were honourable members of the judiciary who were killed in cold blooded murder by Rawlings and the Tsikata's as they stood on principles to defend the country. But these SC judges are doing the contrary, usurping authority given them by the state to protect their bloated ego's and they are going to pay for this one day!!
