NDC and government are still compounding their woes by the ignoring public out-cry for the removal of this dangerous thief called Barton-Odro as Deputy Speaker of the august house. It is elements like this man who have dragged the reputation of the party into the mud. A party formed on the foundations of probity and accountability, transparency and equality is now infested with fraudsters, thieves and looters of national coffers. As a true disciple of the party I suggest the few good ones left, especially the youth, act swiftly to right the wrongs caused by these greedy nuts amongst us. Barton-Odro must by love or by force made to resign his position as Deputy Speaker. Those found culpable must be investigated by the party and government and punished if found guilty. This exercise will send a signal to the public as well as a deterrent that current NDC will not tolerate or shield wrong doings thereby winning back the sympathy, love, trust and mandate of the people. Lets not allow a few bad nuts use a day to destroy what our peers through toil and sweat, some with blood through death built in year. A word to the wise .......

One of the evils of tribalism is that it paves the way for mass corruption if they gang together in a government to do so. Ewes were in the ministries of finance and justice, and therefore, controlled the law and the finance. This made it very easy for their crooked brother - Woyome to dupe Ghana through them. Betty and Odru should be incarcerated now and the rest later.

Bubayaro lost heavily to Police Machine, who were looking to secure promotion to the lowest tier of the Nationwide League Division.
Machine's promotion rivals Plateau United Feeder won their match against Akruba, played simultaneously, 79-0.
Nigeria's football authorities have suspended all four clubs involved, calling the results "mind-boggling".

Police Machine needed to win and outscore Plateau United Feeder, but the final results would have seen the latter promoted on goal difference.
The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) has imposed an indefinite ban on the four clubs and struck the results from the records, with further investigations promised.
Feeder scored 72 of their goals in the second half, while Police Machine found the net 61 times after the break in their match.
Bubayaro owner Shuaibu-Gara Ahmed Gombe, who was in Lagos and not at his club's game, said he had ordered the team not to play the match but he was ignored by team officials.
"As soon as I heard the result, I disbanded the team," he told BBC Sport.
"It's disappointing that some people would bring the game to disrepute out of desperation."
He added: "I have written a petition to the (state) police in Bauchi to investigate this shame and arrest anyone found to be involved."
It is also claimed that attempts to make arrests after the Bubayaro match were thwarted when players and officials disappeared immediately after full-time.
Some who attended the two matches reported incidents including questionable refereeing decisions, inexplicable added time and club officials rather than ball boys returning balls into play immediately after goals had been scored.

A journalist who saw Bubayaro's defeat against Police Machine, and who asked not to be identified in order to protect his own safety, told BBC Sport: "In the second half, we started witnessing outrageous own goals, free-kicks and terrible goalkeeping.
"Feeders blasted goal after goal past Bubayaro. Officials of the club turned into emergency ball boys, instead of retrieving the ball from the net, they quickly threw another ball into the centre circle.
"It was ridiculous, because the losing side didn't make any effort and the officiating was abysmal, with controversial calls being made and unaccounted additional minutes played.
"Some people were on their mobile phones updating officials at the other venue."
The NFF called the situation a "mind-boggling show of shame" and said players, match officials and the tournament coordinator will be investigated for match-fixing.
NFF's organising committee chairman Mike Umeh said: "It is unacceptable - a scandal of huge proportions. The teams are suspended indefinitely, pending further sanctions.
"We will investigate this matter thoroughly and get to the bottom of it."

In the latest twist in the judgement debt saga involving businessman, Alfred Agbesi Woyome, his lawyer, Osafo Buabeng, at an Accra Fast Track High Court, Financial Division, tendered in evidence letters justifying the payment made to Alfred Woyome.

The said letters allegedly originated from the Ministry of Justice and Attorney-General (AG).

At the last hearing, counsel for the accused presented a letter written by Ebo Barton-Odro, Deputy Speaker of Parliament, addressed to the late President John Evans Atta Mills also justifying the payment of the GH¢51.2 million to Woyome.

According to the letter, Barton-Odro, the then Deputy Attorney-General, stated that the Attorney-General never hurried in entering settlement agreement with Woyome.

In his evidence, Ahmed Suleiman, Acting Chief Director of the Ministry said the AG, who felt there was fraud in the document, filed a writ in court for non-payment of the first installment, adding that the court in its judgment did not grant the request but ordered the AG to pay only the first installment of GH¢17, 094483.53.

Mr Woyome obtained a default judgment when he went to court to fight the decision of the Ministry of Finance to reverse the payment of his two per cent fee agreed upon.

The witness said the former Deputy A-G again indicated to the Ministry of Finance the role the accused played as a financial engineer in the CAN 2008 tournament.

He narrated that, on March 29, 2010, the Deputy A-G wrote another letter to the Ministry of Finance indicating why the A-G was of the view that the claims by the accused were justified, so the officials should go ahead and pay him.

Mr Suleiman stated that when the then AG, Betty Mould Idrissu, was served with the judgment, she decided to negotiate with the lawyers of the accused.

According to him, after the negotiation, the A-G, through a letter, communicated the outcome to the Ministry of Finance.

The case was adjourned to July 22.
