Frank why the president? You guys need to understand that there are institutions in Ghana. In thier petition, they mentioned all the relevant institutions that will deal with this.

Unfortunately no one has listened to the side of the MP. Would the concerned MP talked? so that people can make informed assessment

  • Kofi 10 years ago

There's nothing to listen from the MP. The land is for the CSIR and he is using illegal land guards. That is criminal. The MP should know better!

I think this could be contempt of Court! If the court gave ruling in favour of the CSIR, the MP must be brought to book immediately.

  • BENYIWAH DOE(Rat Poison) 10 years ago

Have you forgotten when the court rule in favor of Jake O Lamptey? This is NDC for you.

  • Okoe 10 years ago

If the Court rules the land belongs to the Council, where are the police and the security forces to enforce the courts judgement. This is extraordinary. Just in Ghana would this happen.

  • Obed Adore 10 years ago

It is not for the police or security forces to enforce this judgement. Unless you are saying that because CSIR is a government parastatal or agency, these forces could intervene.

Do we have eminent domain law in Ghana. This is typical NDC thuggery. If they can do this to an institution like CSIR; what do you think could have befallen a common citizen. They will just eliminate him as they did to ATTA. W ...

CSIR should inform the court of the infringement and ask for the MP to be jailed for contempt.

  • Kofi 10 years ago

This MP has stolen government land and has indulged in another illegality by employing the services of so-called land guards. We have all such people in Ghana's parliament as law makers. Ghana is indeed a failed state!
