Pratt even recommended Baako to be killed by the regime, thank God Baako was instead touchered violently and severely but his life was spared. This is what Kwesi Pratt can do. As a founding member and elder of the party, you should know better that decisions voted on by the majority, and taken on behalf of the party must be accepted by every law-abiding citizen of the party.

That is what democracy is all about.

It's always the majority that will have its way.

It is therefore unacceptable for you so-called dissidents to be subjecting the party leadership or party members, for decisions taken on behalf of the party, to acerbic attacks just because you are not in favour of the majority decision.

Dr.Nyaho-Tamakloe, imagine if every party member with a grievance takes to the media and start attacking the party without first exhausting the approved channels in the party; what will become of your own party ?

We know the Mahamas are your in-laws but that shouldn't force you to turn the NPP into your punching bag,Nyaho-Tamakloe.

JJ, I share in your sentiments, and want to add that Ghanaians are making gods out of the Media, thinking the Media have easy answers to all their problems.
It is alarming the way people run to the media to wash their dirty linen in public, forgetting that matters could be BETTER resolved at home, i.e. within whatever set-up they find themselves.

In the haste to go to media these people bring others to disrepute and public ridicule.
It's all over the place, especially within political parties and must stop. Look at the recent publication of suspected embezzlement of party funds by Dr Sakara and Samia. It's simply too bad.

People, like Nyaho Tamakloe and Dr Wereko-Brobbey should not abuse their easy access to the media, and try to keep matters within their party small, for there are structures within to resolve any problems they have.

Do you Nyaho of all people call castigating Dr Bawumiah in public by Wireko-Brobbey acceptable? Why then did he have to apologize? No one person or otherwise is bigger than the NPP (Elephant). If you won't comply with party regulations, you must as well find your way out before you are booted out. Discipline is of the essence. The NPP is currently not a party that is representative of the nation; it is, and has always been made up of two main factions that are constantly at each other’s throat yet intent on fooling the public as though they dance to the same tune. You have the Akyem ‘Manso’ mafia on the one hand and the hubristic Ashanti brigade on the other. And, together they make this all-die-be-die entertaining and quixotic troubadours.

Where exactly do the political interests of other tribes sit within the party? Where do they place our northern brothers, the Gas, the Adas, the Krobos and the Ewes in the party? This party is closed to diverse interests; actually, it appears to be negatively provoked, if not offended by divergent views; that is, views that are neither Akyem nor Ashanti.

Yet this party has constantly changed its name over time. It has been sectionalist under Busia, factionalist under Victor Owusu, diversionist under Adu Boahen, vindictive under Kuffuo and now separatist under Akuffo. How I used to think that the world renowned Adu Boahen could possibly safeguard his legacy by staying away from this party and its selfish creed.

Will they change? No. It’s now getting all boring, stagnant and increasingly chaotic, isn't it? Ghana has moved on into far more complex economic/political businesses and interrelationships. So this party must diversify to become a bit more creative capable of tendering effective and credible opposition to the government.

Sometimes, party supporters are quick to condemn or insult others who tell them the truth about the state of their party. The NPP is no different and I am glad that core members and erstwhile leaders of their own party with vast experience are bold enough to point these things out.

For me it is refreshing because as a neutral (even though some of them continue to erroneously label me with NDC), when I analyse a situation and some 'emotionally driven' individuals condemn without really reflecting on the veracity of what has been written, it makes me sad but not deterred because history will eventually bear us all out in these matters.

The NPP is in danger as a party and unless they listen to the likes of Nyaho Tamakloe, they will lose huge constituencies when it matters most.

Some of you are the ones who are intolerant of the process and procedures because it either affects you directly or your egos. It's not a matter of lack of tolerance it's a lack of democracy and that's all. Party does not allow contradictory debates. That is not a party but an association of gangs and lions.

Until Dr. Wereko-Brobby went on air recently, no one could tell the substance he was made of, though many have long suspected that he is inherently paranoid suffering from inexplicable and uncontrollable air of pomposity and delusional self-agrandisement. Like every human, this is his but, and one would have expected him to gradually shirk it as he climbed the academic and age ladders but it was not to be. He saw education as the end in itself. In some ways, for Dr Wereko-Brobby and people like him, wisdom, achievements, helping to bring about reformations in communities/society are not necessarily part of their agenda. They seek gainful employment, take top positions or join parties mostly, if not simply, for the sole aim of living better. No wonder Dr. Wereko-Brobby would boast of 3 square meals in comparison with others who cannot afford. We expected Dr Wereko-Brobby to show empathy for those who cannot afford even 2 square meals a day due to no fault of theirs, and give an instance where he helped one or two people through education or small financing to also make it in life.
Dr Wereko Brobby and the likes of him do not bear the blame fully. Unlike the tried and tested employment systems in other countries that continue to contribute to their development, the Ghanaian employment system is mostly concerned with one's academic qualifications. It does not actively consider who one is, the extracurricular activities, and to what extent employing him or her would impact on communities. Therefore, people who may be innately selfish do not necessarily see the need to reform through academic education or otherwise.
Academicians in other countries prove their degrees, or knowledge by what they can contribute to society - anthropological research on specific trends in some tribes, their merits and demerits with specific references to how to improve them; artificial intelligence; super computing; Facebook; cars and what have you.
On the contrary, most of the bunches of professors that Ghana produces are zeros in their fields. Their major achievements are the mere fact that they hold Doctorate degrees or are PhD holders. In fact they have no achievements to speak about, and no major record changes that have taken place because of their work. To overcome the psychological trauma, they go about bragging and singing anywhere and any time they get the least opportunity: "I am a PhD holder, I am a PhD holder...".
At the same time, we have several uneducated or college level technicians and other field workers who are heroes in their professions. Example: take your car to the fitting mechanic who might not have had academic education and he can prognose the fault by listening to the engine sound. They can even tell you some parts which can fit better for other cars.
As the saying goes, in the land of the blind, a one-eyed man is king.
Unless we reform our employment system, we would continue to have people like Dr. Wereko-Brobby, who will try to put himself above others for the simple reason that he is a PhD holder.
