The TUC, the world bank, even the governor of the Bank of Ghana, as well as various other bodies monitoring the finances and the economy of the country, have all come to the same conclusion. Indeed, per the report from the Gov't statistician which was released a couple of weeks ago, all the various sectors were trending downwards - a clear indication of an economy in distress. The NDC team headed by John Mahama instead of biting the bullet of their failed policies and their incontestable incompetence and ineptitude, have conveniently termed them as challenges, with the result that, the country continues to sink with the result that, social protection measures that should have helped the less vulnerable in society are now being eroded in the form of mores taxes on cutlasses, energy saving bulbs, condoms, etc, etc. The NDC team is incapable of solving the problems of the masses and to the discerning mind, it is very obvious that such incompetence and ineptitude does not bode well for the fortunes of Ghanaians.
